Counting down the days till we head up north going to spend some time in the Upper peninsula! I've lived in Michigan my whole life and have never been to the U.P! [emoji38] looking forward to unwinding unplugging and getting back to nature! Just have to not think about driving across the bridge!!! Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Well - you could circle around through Wisconsin but I recommend the bridge.

Huh, I have had a recurring nightmare since I was a child about driving off a very high bridge that disappeared on me.

I had a really rough time of it when the Sunshine Skyway down in Tampa Bay went down in the early eighties.

I was white-knuckling it all the way across one of the bay bridges in San Fran a couple months ago.

And guess what? I'm not afraid to fly at all anymore either! I Just had to face my fear head on!
Although I might be curled up in a ball on the floor of the back seat on the way there.. [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

I'd had a similar recurring nightmare from when I was a kid going around the side of the Alleghenies and the door came open. I went out first, mom grabbed my hand in time, then she went out, and dad grabbed hers in time.

I was doing the airplane high above the ground. :D

Good times! :)

The Mac and the Golden Gate never bothered me.

That big ass thing in Europe you can just forget though! :p :D

I know exactly what you mean!!! I'm not afraid of heights... It has something to do with not seeing the horizon.. I lose myself in space ... a malfunctioning gyroscope .. So to speak [emoji6]

We took a taxi in the Bahamas once and he was already driving like a maniac flying past people beeping his horn on these crazy narrow winding roads
Next thing you know... We are speeding up this huge steep long bridge over the ocean in this tiny beat up old cab and crazy driver
I had no time to see it coming ! You should have seen my husbands face when he looked at me!! He thought I was going to jump out for sure!!! Haha
If I can do that.... I can do anything:)

My dad and I used to get up early and have breakfast together while we watched our hero, Chief Jay Strongbow. Still think of that when I do watch wrasslin'. Took my nephews a few months back when it was in town. Seemed funner live in the 90's. The kid and I loved going. I had a good time recently but it was just much tamer somehow.

Loved Rowdy Roddy and was sad to see he passed.
