I'd love to have the rear camera views on my pickup. I back up to a trailer almost daily and it would save me a great deal of effort to align hitch to trailer.

I once backed over a brand new bicycle that my first born had not even learned to ride yet. A bit of looking prior to getting into the vehicle would have been the ticket. A camera system might have saved the day but human error was the culprit.

You can get one aftermarket.

i stay up way too late....and i love it and have no plans of stopping anytime soon. oh, and chocolate/banana milkshakes from sonic invoke pure happiness for me

Wind conditions. Be thankful if they are passenger jets. We get C-130s at rooftop level.
The buggers travel in packs of 3 to boot. We've looked for tire marks on roof after a couple of low passes. The planes are also so slow appearing on landing that they look like UFOs.

If you watch the NY Mets, you will hear a jet overhead frequently. Citi field not far from La Guardia.

Gotcha, thanks. I have to say I've lived here for 46...er,20! ;-) ....years and never seen them constantly coming in this low. Last time I saw really strange behavior here was when I was driving home from Arlington cemetery and saw everyone standing outside their buildings looking up. Then 3 helicopters circling the Washington monument. Was afraid we had another 9-11 but turned out to be an earthquake, rather large.

Oh yeah, I remember that. Aug. 2011 and it was magnitude 5.8 centered in VA. Even in PA we got some serious building shakes. It damaged the monument, too.

Yes we had been in Arlington cemetery. I remember the truck was shaking and I yelled at the kids, thinking they were wrestling and making it shake. Lol! A lot of old buildings were danged. I hear one town around here lost most of its buildings as they were all older:( Was quite the shocker.

Dngrswife wants a tiny home.

We already have a small house, but at least ours has storage space (which is packed to the rafters with people and stuff).

I mean, I could live in a really small space, get rid of all my tools and stuff... Not sure my wife could, though.

Here's the wasteland that is our back garden. It's looked like this for some months, as I'm killing the grass in preparation for re-landscaping. It needs some serious drainage installing. I'm thinking of some kind of big patio section to reduce the grassed area. This clay soil is really not good for growing things.
