You forgot that the house is quiet when I sleep and not quiet whey they sleep (during the DAY!!!!!)

We can get that. I used to swear that I'd find the kids hanging upside down on the shower rod during the day. If it wasn't for a large mirror in the bathroom, I would have had to resort to garlic.

Question: What's the first rule about good business? (it has nothing to do with Fight Club)

Tarantula's are awesome. Here are mine.

I always think I want one but then remember I really don't. They are so neat though, maybe one of these days. Dash is sort of creepy but I like the other two a lot.

Dash is about 1.5 inches long. They other two are around 5 inches. Bonnie is a full grown adult.. maybe another half inch will come out of future molts, but the salmon pink is sub adult and has a long way to go!

I mean, just like my cats, sure, they will if they are provoked. But they are enclosed. Bonnie is the only one handle-able. I've held her several times, she's a sweetheart, but not often as it's pretty risky for them. They're super fragile creatures, and a little timid/jumpy. Hardwood floors, as you can see in the picture, isn't the best flooring to have below you.

You're not selling it really. I'll stick to my dog I think. :)

Oh, he's selling it. Having 4 snakes around I know exactly what he's selling! I take them out, 2 are puppy-dog sweet, 1 is unpredictable but mostly just for show and 1 hates me. I pretty much know when they are cranky so leave them alone then. I take the geckos out, they seem to actually like it. Still not so sure I'd take a tarantula out though, mostly for their safety though, not mine.

Bonnie is a sweetheart and lets me know when she wants to stay in her terrarium if I try to bring her out - or she walks right out. I'm told my unnamed will calm down a lot and be a nice guy when he (it) matures, but at the moment way, way too feisty! I'll upload a video of us feeding it btw. heh

As for the trap, I wouldn't hold that anyway, it's not captive born and is too unpredictable in behavior.
