Random Thought Thread

We caught the last :45 or so of the Oscars last night, which included the always-bittersweet “In Memoriam” montage.

As I watched it, a thought muddled up from my subconscious: when Harvey Weinstein leaves this world, will the Academy include him in the montage?
I think a lot depends on how much time has passed by then. Ditto for numerous other people, such as Mel Gibson and Kevin Spacey.

If there's enough passage of time to dull our collective memories of their transgressions, I think there's a fair chance their legacies in the industry will be honored.
 
I never had one unless you count Military. Military forces basically go where they want and dare anyone to object. Not that I've personally ever left the USA except for Canada and Mexico but they're both long time bros of USA
