It probably was at one time, which is why it's spelled that way.
SOme random internet person was bitching about the 24-hour clock. Apparently it's evil or something.
After a few minutes of discussion, I told them, "you are 100% correct. I am going to work at 1300 anyway."
So using two twelve hour clocks with a latin qualifier that most people have no idea what it means to represent an entire day makes much more sense.
Or just start everything an hour earlier.

Start everything 2 hours earlier.. so the latecomers will be on time.
Indeed! We passed Proposition 7 in November to do just that. There's still much red tape to cut through before it can go into effect, but it's a first step!

This made me feel very out of the loop. Apparently you can root your Honda, yeah that's right, the car. By rooting you can gain extra features like steering wheel controls amongst other things.
I guess I'm not surprised, since it's android we're talking about here. Pretty damn cool!

On one hand, wow!, how fun for those of us who are Linux/Android geeks--oh, the things we could do!
On the other hand...see that last bit above. A bricked phone is one thing; a bricked car quite another.

Haha true, though I don't think root would give such deep access to things that would compromise the cars driveability and safety (though I saw something about bypassing the parking brake LMFAO!!!).
