Tell me honestly, is this a world you want to live in?

"Zhu Peiying, head of Huawei’s 5G wireless labs, is showing off devices that can connect to the new technology. From a smart toothbrush that collects data about how well you brush your teeth, to a smart cup that reminds you when you should drink some water, this is a world where everything you can think of is being measured and analysed."
Chinese govt can now know about everyone's teeth :thumbsupdroid:

Much of it has simply gone too far, in my opinion. I mean...really?!

When I had a forced disconnection from my usual arsenal of technology products, for almost a year, guess what I learned? You can live without it! Yes, it turns out that you don't actually NEED much of the stuff you have. It made me more mindful of what I do, how I do it, how much time I spend doing various things, etc.

I love technology as much as the next nerdy, geek guy, but enough already. Some of it is downright ridiculous.

Wish the science channel would of bring back Mythbusters Jr. At their usual time slot, I do not want to watch anything else on weds. anyways.

If poison has passed its expiration date, is it more poisonous...or is it no longer poisonous?

If a airplane is on a giant treadmill can it still takeoff. Smurf it I'll raise you the question that borked the internet, in 2006 or so.

I wish to remember more t.v. shows I want to watch, I wish they where not cramped down at evenings.
Three letters: DVR :D

Seriously, I record stuff day and night, on two DVRs, and just watch whatever I'm in the mood for regardless of what time it is. With most of my favorite shows, which I record automatically, I honestly don't know when they actually air. *shrug*

Hahahaa, I write down on when they are scheduled, I spend like half of the week catching up with my cartoons and shows too, and the shows that are like rewriting of their own other seasons, I have on dvd too. I know I sound like an old fart sometimes hahahaaa :D

Lots of us old farts around here!

Hell, I'm an old fart who still uses a landline. :o

(As I've explained before, my smartphones don't get strong or reliable signals in my house. My landline, which my family has had--with the same number--since 1971 works perfectly, 100% of the time.)

I suppose it's similar to blowing a raspberry but it's nowhere near. That coulda woulda shoulda turned out to be a disheartened breath . Still can't really explain how someone might make that sound with their lips if it isn't on someone's belly. I've made it after I've been disheartened though . I don't know pbrrrrr maybe :p
