They wanted to put me in nuke subs, but in the mid 90's coming of the end of the cold war RIF they weren't accepting transfers from Army to Navy.

Larry was re-glueing and bolting the connections for a force main sanitary system together again. Instead of excavating it up, he went head first and fixed it in 10 minutes. Not all at once of course.

I do not recommend doing this. I warned agensed it, and actually shut the contractor down afterward. We had a little pow wow about jobsite safety.
