so...I call my ding dong bat cat and he meows back...I look up and he is stuck in a very tall old tree. He is wedged between two branches in the form of a Y about 20-30 feet up...I try to talk him down..:rolleyes:(yeah I know..) but I REALLY did not want to be the crazy cliche' cat lady who calls the fire department to get her cat stuck in the tree! so....I use the ladder to get to the top of my garage roof...swing myself over to the stupid tree..I'm about 20 feet up..pissed as all..blank cuz I can't even believe I am doing this....
and he unwedges himself..crawls down to me...nearly falling twice..and I'm teetering there trying to catch him if he does..almost falling myself...anywho..he makes his way to me..I carry him the rest of the way down..


now he is asleep in my bed....all worn out from his harrowing experience...



um......REALLY???? hello?

haha! My brother just told me he bought a new house and wanted to know if we wanted to buy his>>It's pretty sweet..and same city as I'm in now..
I was going to add on to my house...but I think it makes more sense to buy his! ugh....funny how things just pop right into your lap sometimes....

ugh...kind of torn...:o don't know what I should do...but I'd be STUPID not to take him up on his offer.....hmmmm
 
He's expecting a quick decision?

Anyone have experience with prepaid debit cards? I got one from a relative in the mail, and I attached it to my amazon account and made a purchase.... well, now there's a few bucks left on it... what'll happen when/if I buy something over that price?

I'm new to prepaid debit cards. ?_?
 
Won't go through, unless you have another payment method on store for Amazon/PayPal/etc....

I actually go to store, pay cash for a debit card , just for this situation. Can't get any extra money from me.
 
I imagine you should be able to contact the e-tailer and explain you're going to pay x amount from the debit card and the remainder from another account. They should be able to do it, they want the sale. I know my local supermarket has no problem if I give part cash payment and the rest on my debit card if I'm short on cash, granted that's a physical transaction rather than on line but that should actually make it easier for the seller if they've got a bit of nous.


edit: you could possibly go somewhere that will sell you another prepaid debit card, and part pay with the one you have, and cash for the rest. I guess you'd have to do this every time your card gets low, until you manage to find a purchase that rounds it all off neatly. Been thinking about getting one myself for those occasions that I find my payment friend account isn't acceptable...
 
I was surprised to experience in the usa a credit card is more welcome for payments than a debet card.
