Random Thought Thread

Hoping the farmers market has a "buy two farmers, get one free" deal cause I'd really like a vegetable garden up and running ASAP.
 
whoops...I just ate half of the hot artichoke dip I was supposed to bring to drinks and Hors d'oeuvers! haha

No way, i was just asking my wife what an artichoke is because the only line in The Big Bang Theory theme song i cant understand sounds like it says something about "artichokes" or something :confused: (obv im far too lazy to google it lol)

they are my favorite food:) you steam them and scrape the flesh from leaves with your teeth..I like them dipped in melted butter but people use bernaise or other sauces..the middle of the artichoke is called the heart..its got the most flesh..they sell artichoke hearts in cans or frozen..that's what I use for the dip
chopped up hearts..mayo and parmesean cheese baked till golden brown..I eat it on crackers.. they look like a vegetable but are in fact..a flower
they kind of taste like asparagus or hearts of palm...
 
They say "if you don't like the weather in New England, wait five minutes" but I watch thunderstorms on radar get near and move north or south and the weather doesn't change for hours.:confused:
 
More like lifeforms that don't require eating others for energy. I believe the other side of the coin is heterotrophs: organisms that get their energy from digesting other things instead of getting energy from the sun like autotrophs.
K. Enough of that. I'm going to start making a fool of myself.

So back to the big bang theme. "The autotroph's began to drool" means organisms began "wanting" to eat each other?
 
Not sure what i just ate... it was in a pot on the cooker and i added some spice magic and it was nice. Hope it wasnt poison...
..edit, why would Mrs L be cooking poison..?
