Random Thought Thread

Under prime conditions, two inches of snow is just as bad as two feet. I live just north of ATL. Even though I can dive around my neighborhood, there is only one road in/out of this neighborhood and it's steep enough to stop traffic. My wife and I are stuck at home because of two inches of snow.
 
2 inches of snow in Houston = 2 days of no school
2 feet = more than a week of no school

We have about 2 feet plus of snow on the ground
Black ice and -20 degrees temps

Kids had school everything is open Nbd .. heck even my cat Malcolm went outside and managed to bring home a dead bird in his mouth >^..^<

Holiday can't come soon enough!!;)
 
Huh, the roads were slick as hell here this morning, but the snow was barely three inches deep.

I know! I'm just teasing ya:) sometimes 2 inches can wreak havoc it all depends on the type of snow... Packing snow is easy to drive on
But slick snow is .. Well slick:) sometimes my jeep will slip on it.. Even in 4 wheel
That's the kind of sneaky snow that causes accidents !

I'm glad you're stuck at home instead of in your car somewhere. 24 hour traffic jams? Crazy.

It's more that they just don't have the equipment and crews to clear and salt/treat the roads.

I work from home anyway, so no loss for me. My wife had to stay home though. Us, three cats, Dark Shadows TOS. No biggy. Thanks for the well wishes. (Y)

Don't know if this belongs in Random or Rant or whatever thread...I wasn't even gonna say anything anyhow....but:rolleyes: I met a GF out for dinner and drinks...and...
I'm rambling:o

but I ran into an old love today:( It kind of shook me for a loop...It's just...I don't regret not being with him for one second...It was never the right time...for us so to speak...and I 100 percent do not regret ..being with my true love hubby huh...it was just...weird? for lack of a better word...no more like ...sad...

and I also feel bad...because...I hurt him...but I'm just as hurt ya know??? it's just it wasn't supposed to be...and I knew that...even though I loved him...still do...always will....um....it was just... hard....whatever...k now I feel weird...
