'Shared joy is double joy, shared sorrow is half the sorrow' is what Mike said.
Tuna replied that ' shared joy is double joy, and the exact shared sorrow is the same' ?

Okay, back to the English speaking so all can join the joys and sorrows here ;)

There's this like 12 year old kid reading a book in the lunch room. He looks at the page for like 10 - 15 seconds and turns the page.

Is he seriously reading that fast?

I'm jelly

I have to give a presentation for English class on my topic for my research paper. Ughhhh

If you haven't seen the video of the cat defending a little kid from a dog, then you haven't been on the internet today...

It elevates my opinion of Felinity.

Much more uplifting than the viral video getting attention around here. Some teenage girls decided to fight and have their friends film it. Well the one girl decided she had had enough and got a shovel to even the odds. It was somewhat local, so the news showed it, and it got picked up by some national shows. I won't post it here, but search YouTube for "shovel fight" if interested in the spectacle lol.

A Co-worker showed me that video last week ... what people will do to be on camera

The YouTube video was made from spliced together security footage. It wasn't a person sitting there with a camcorder watching the child get attacked.

What he said. I had the same question, initially.

As it turned out, the mother didn't know exactly what happened until after her husband went through the security camera footage. All she knew was the kid suddenly had a bunch of wounds on his leg.
