I don't think it'll catch on, people hardly say 'hello' to each other in the street as it is. But cuddle parties may have their place for people who are really lonely.

I've caught some trophy size mice with the trap. I've also caught two mice at a time a few times. The best trap I've found.
Someone mentioned an electronic trap some posts back. That trap I've not used. I've used the sticky traps and the standard victory traps. Both work but I'll stick with those I pictured. A number of years ago I purchased some sort of mouse deterrent. They supposedly emitted an inaudible noise that mice hate. Don't buy those.
Oh yes those sonic devices do not work. We also get moles in our garden, and they are destructive little buggers that make your garden look like a WW1 battlefield. Anyway I got this device which you hammer into the ground, and it makes a noise which is meant to scare off the moles. It didn't work.
But anyway, that bucket mouse trap looks like a good idea, think I'll try it. I bet @olbriar would fill that with water though

No, that I wouldn't do. That strikes me as being sadistic. I don't mind flushing them at all. But leaving them to swim until they couldn't would be over the top... at least for me. I'm not that catch and release guy either. I have too much faith in them finding their way back into my digs.
If you're going to kill them then do it as quickly as possible. I really hate to see those sticky traps and drowning containers, it's just wrong for my way of thinking.
I'm not one for unneeded torture either. Unless its a hornet. Those evil little bastards deserve all the pain and suffereing they can get.

Well sure I don't agree with inflicting pain on these creatures either, which is why I initially asked about humane traps. I've used the 'little nipper' type traps before, and they look pretty deadly, but sometimes even they don't kill cleanly, leaving the mouse to suffocate, or with a broken back, slowly dying. I wanted to avoid that.

When my dear grandmother was still alive and I was living with her taking care of her, she refused to let me kill the mice in the garage. She was a dear sweet woman and didn't want any animals killed. I have used the little box type traps and they work well and never kill the mouse. Then you are stuck driving 10 or more miles away to a park to release them. I used something like this (got it at wally world I believe) worked real well, except for having to release the mouse, and then clean and re-use.

Anywho.. The whole water crisis thing is just so..... Wrong and disgusting.and sad
At the very least .. It has brought out the true nature of human compassion

There are water drop off stations every store has donation at the register and in the isles
Etc
We personally donate a case of bottled water everyday and there are so many people who are going above and beyond volunteering to haul it and disperse it to those in need
It's kind of nice to see how many people rally and come together .
It helps to Restore my faith in humanity .. A little:/
