Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

I sewed through my finger and had to get stitches!

I'm really pissed off about management that want the sun, moon, and stars, but refuse to invest any money for the infrastructure to support their goals.

Seriously, when you have a half-billion dollar maintenance budget, would it really hurt that much to spend $100K for some expanded facility space?

Darn right it would hurt! That's some manager's bonus you're carelessly tossing around there, sonny boy!

That manager's bonus, as well as my own, will be going away when all his minions quit in frustration...

Seriously, three-fifths of the shop who are thinking about throwing in the towel on the whole business.

My wife made an appointment for our son's six month check up today, when she knew I would be unable to come with. We discussed altering his vaccine schedule, but she didn't follow what we had discussed.
I'm quite upset.

I would have been upset myself missing the 6 month too.:(

The little ones grow so fast, especially at that age.

Windows is such a pain in the butt... tried to instal Kies so that I could upgrade ky phone, but there was a problem with one of the .dll files.

Windows wouldn't let me rename, replace the defective file... didn't have permission. Couldn't get permission!

Finally hit fed up, booted into ubuntu, and surfed my way through three thousand folders to replace the offending file.

Substitute bus drivers. Why on a 25 degree day with wind chills in the single digits does the school bus have to be ten minutes late. Brrr....

I've gotten cars towed when people do that. :D

Do they have a tag or placard? There have been a few times over the years that I have forgotten to hang the placard on my rear view mirror. I might look fine walking from my car to the store, but I'm usually dragging my leg (very noticeable to me) walking back to the car. On the outside I might appear fine, but inside I am shaking and ready to collapse from the weakness in my legs. I have MS, the 'invisible' disease, not the Jerry's Kids one that everyone is familiar with. Think twice before you make that call, you don't know what's really going on with that person. Would you want your grandmother's car towed while she is grocery shopping because she forgot her handicapped placard? Think before you act, please.

Seven hours passed. Feeling any better now BB?

Marginally. I don't feel like a hammer is slamming into my head every time I move....its down to a dull ache. Thanks for asking. :)

If they have a license plate that indicates handicapped or a tag hanging in the car I have no problem. If nothing is there then it ticks me off. My mother is handicapped and won't let us park in a spot if she doesn't have the tag in the car. And I have MS too so I know all about how some days its a major feat to make it out of the house. I don't just call for kicks and giggles but if you're supposed to have proof then its inexcusable to not have it showing.
