I just returned home from grocery shopping, I had one item I needed to buy. Wowsers, the price of food these days.. seriously. And, guess what I forgot to buy :(

J/K.. I often come home from shopping with everything other than what I specifically went shopping for.

My late father-in-law looked like the picture of health. He was handsome, tall, and a healthy weight. He had his first heart attack at 52....(before I meet him....)

People used to stare if he parked in a handicapped zone..... He did have a placard, but people would come up to car to see it..... Only 20% of his heart worked...

The old saying of "Don't judge a book by it's cover" is too true....

Beer, burgers 'n dogs or anything else (I could add 'within reason' of course but it wouldn't impress neither of you I guess)?

I was just having one of "those moments" yesterday that's why I posted what I did. All good now.:thumbup:
 
I hate to bring this here, but I must shake my fist a bit.

Verizon, and their (as I see it) stupid branding and extra software and testing. Their inability to bring a truly good phone to their stores in a timely fashion, whether it is the direct result of their aforementioned issues, or not.
And while I wait for this phone to become available, they have the gall to send me daily emails telling me it's time to upgrade.

If its not a direct HR, etc. email I don't bother. If they can't accept a well written cover letter and resume as enough info then again, I don't bother.
