Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Arrogant people. I really dislike the people that just think that they are better, smarter than others. You can be better and smarter, just people don't have to be a jerk about it.

I've met people who were smarter than I, yes. Some, who think they are that show arrogance. Some who are smart, but really not, they just seem smart because they are arrogant.

What is making one better than another? IQ, education, a well paying job? Sure... not... :)
And being arrogant is all but smart.

shoot!!! I went back to try to find your post at 6666 so I could quote it or screen shot it so you would always be on 6666 post!.. But then I realized that I am blonde;)..oh and that once you posted past the 6666, it would never show in your post count going forward ...haha!!

Right. Some people are very smart, but are not arrogant, and those are the people highly respect. An example would be founders of Google, Larry and Surgey. Very smart men, but the least bit arrogant.

I hate when the big boss shows up at the field trailer at 4:30 on friday. I really didn't want to go down and talk to that homeowner for you. I was going to go home in 15 mins, but noooo. Now I'm stuck hearing the life story of cousin freddy that lives 2 houses down. 5:30 I get out of there, and I can only charge to 5:00.

The word 'so' is not necessary to start a sentence, paragraph, conversation...

I really get irritated when I am listening to an interview on the radio and whoever is being interviewed gets asked a question and they start their answer with "So..."

..when i was little , I couldn't wait..and it took forever to get here...
now I'm like what?...wait! can't be... :o

ugh...at what age is that turning point ? and why does that happen? and why do I even care?

It happens every time you look at it like that. Be careful. Enjoy yourself and don't think too much about it. That is, I swear, one of the secrets to everlasting youth. I should know ;)
