I have a coworker that's studying for the same profession that you are.
Always amazed how many people are as foolish as me.

Many of those books will be used for two years (I hope). Our semester is about 4mo long.
Don't ever think an RN didn't work to get where they are, even if they only have the two-year degree.
Pedestrians have this problem, too.
Oh, and we also have problems with bicyclists running us off the sidewalk. We'll share nicely if you do, OK, please?
There's reportedly been quite an increase in pedestrians being knocked down crossing the road because they're too busy with their smart phone to look for traffic.
Bicycles aren't allowed on the footpaths here unless it's signposted as a shared path. Bicycle couriers in the city can be dangerous because they constantly ride along the footpath and cut quite close to pedestrians. If I'm around they can be endangered. I've been known to 'accidently' walk into their path and collide with them causing them to fall over (admittedly this hasn't happened for quite some years). They get irate and want to make something out of it but when I offer to call the police so they can explain why they were riding on the footpath they back down...
In Minneapolis, it is illegal for bicycles to use the sidewalk.
But we are still voted the bike-friendliest city in the U.S.
What grinds my gears?
The mind boggling amount of reading due this semester!
Sometimes I use the side walk even if there is a bike trail, just because I don't trust the drivers on the road. Sometims they just get too close.
Good point. I'd forgotten about those. And then they give you dirty looks or hand signs like you almost hit THEM. And the whole time the phone is still in their hand.Pedestrians have this problem, too.

I don't mind looking, pictures, or posing. I will do the same thing around nice bikes. Sitting on? No way. Best are kids under 10. It's like they have found the biggest, brightest, shiniest toy on the planet and they just got to touch it and play with it. Them I don't mind. They don't tend to mess up the bike.We found half a tour bus of Koreans taking pics and posing with ours. I think we might have been in western New Mexico. They liked Japanese bikes, but couldn't afford them in Korea.
We also had a tour bus full of Japanese surround it. Overjoyed to see a Kawasaki, I suppose. Vulcan Nomad 1500.
Nope, Nashville, Tennessee. And that's the state capital.
My son wanted Pizza Hut last night, so we went into one of the sit-down restaurants. The guy comes over and takes our order, then never brings us our drinks. I had to get up and go get the guy and remind him we wanted them. Then he kept coming over and asking if we wanted refills (big-time overkill). When we were ready to go, we asked him for two ToGo boxes for the pizzas. He brings two tiny boxes made for those single personal pan pizzas (the look on his face while he was trying to figure out how to fit two large pizzas in two tiny boxes
