I've had my 5.5 hours of sleep, now not quite so tired. Got to go to work-- now I feel tired again. :rolleyes:

Know what grinds my gears? I was taking the recycling to the Cary Convenience Center (Cary, NC, USA) yesterday and these guys were throwing out a HUGE computer. My thought is, I take it and fix it up and give it away. Well, they were willing to let me have it, but the attendant refused to let me have it, telling me its illegal.

Why is it illegal to reuse something? Well, apparently its unlawful in this state to rescue working things (or anything) from dumps and landfills, even though that computer could've easily helped someone out.

For some reason, when my connection is showing as 3G pages absolutely will not load. HSDPA however, if the connection holds, works fine...


...I thought 3G was supposed to be bigger, better and faster.
 
My girlfriend is very heavily pregnant (32 weeks I think) and I'm literally at the end of my tether with the so called "experts" who claim they can tell the sex of the baby just by looking at her.

She showed the 20 week scan to someone yesterday who could tell instantly what we were having despite having no medical training, nor was she a mother herself. Not even the lady with 12+ years experience who performed the ultrasound could tell.

The worst part? The "What did I tell you" if these people actually turn out to be right.
