Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

1- Carte Noire, Lavazza and recently Douwe Egberts. Coarse ground I think.
2- Bodum
3- I follow the Bodum instructions using 1 heaped teaspoon per cup.

It never turns out rich enough. Either too weak or too bitter. It doesn't even smell right
 
People who bury their noses in books and in computers, totally oblivious that there is life outside of said things.
 
This grinds my gears:

I'm sitting here watching Comedy Central and busting out laughing at Katt Williams, then it goes on commercial and they put on this depressing commercial about abused dogs. Can we get some channel specific commercials please :( I feel bad for the dogs, but what a buzzkill.
 
People who look at you and ask with a completely straight face, "You (can) read?". I know it takes more brain power than turning on the TV, and that's actually why I like it.

Oh, and on that general line of thought; the very fact that "Jersey Shore" exists in the first place.
 
Well here it goes. Had my own house fo a month. Woman's sister found out. We've been baby sitting for the last two weeks because she's a whore. Her mom also made her way in. 4 people in a two bedroom. Can't say what I want, can't smoke a cigar, can't even get any butt. I'm sitting outside having a Michelob my gears are so ground I have none.
 
People who think its ok to merge without yielding or even looking and get mad when i kick their car to prevent myself from being run over. Skrew yur Dentz, U got Inshurince!
 
You know really grinds my gears? Routine! I hate routine! Routine runs our everyday little lives and we do nothing about it!!! You know why? Cause we`re to stupid to notice it........especially me. I mean, where`s all the action and excitment? I hate routine! I just wanna grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!! Well, that`s what grinds my gears.....
 
People who chew with their mouth open. I can't even begin to explain how much it pisses me off.

Me too!!! I want to ask them if they realize how gross it looks. I actually broke up with a guy once because he couldn't chew with his mouth closed.
