Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Unnecessary loudness is something that grinds my gears. It is rude, and a waste of energy. I always try to maintain a low volume level. Though, right now I'm too tired to be in a 'rant-mode' about it.

The Dallas Cowboys grind my gears.

You get paid millions of dollars to to play a kids game, but you fail to execute the simplest of tasks.

-4 early snaps
-lining up in the wrong spots
-running the wrong routes

I will say I was not on the Romo band wagon, but after last night I might be.

While this is not the place for it, I think Romo is on his way to being where he should have already been 2 seasons ago. Elite status.

It's soooooooo gross!

It's the end of September. It's supposed to be feel great now with comfortable fall weather instead of all of this humidity. I feel like I'm sweating and sometimes I actually am due to it even though it's only like 70F outside.

That's Manhattan for you. I grew up it CT. Right on LI Sound. If you get humidity and still air, all you can smell is car exhaust. Then if the wind blows hard, you have wind tunnels.

I prefer the desett. CO is ok, but my druthers is low humidity and Red Rocks!

As a Cowboys fan I hope you are right. It is all mental for him, he has the physical abilities.

On a different note...Spending 8 years in the military only to get out and get a b.s. secuirty job that pays me per month what I made every two weeks in the service.

Why oh why did I get out. I really miss money and you know....being able to buy stuff.

Pisses me off that I can't post on xda in the thread for the ROM I'm running cause I don't have 10 posts elsewhere on the site. I know its the rules but I just went into a boot loop and couldn't get it to stop till I ripped out the battery. Would have liked to have had the option of letting the dev know. Oh well. Maybe someday I'll find 10 places to post over there (doubt it though - they are so unfriendly in general)

'Splain please . . . you need ten posts on the site before you can make a post? Or is the ROM section Special? Very confused.

Are these Dallas Cowboys you speak of some sort of football squadron?

Basically anywhere useful I've tried to post or ask a question (and yes, I search before asking) requires a 10 post count first. Their ROM section and anything else besides games and introductions are very Special.

Had to do a factory reset to fix a vibration problem on my phone and now contacts list is working weird, and I don't feel like another factory reset.

Love the android, but sometimes it can tick me off.

I hate the USPS... I used to go to the post office a block away. I literally moved across the street and 3 houses down and now my post office that mail is held at is 5 miles away. *MiddleFinger*

I really need this today...
1. Warez seekers all over XDA. Pay up your $2 for an app that some dev spend the better part of his life breaking his back on so you could have a cooler whatchamacallit.
2. Veterinarians and their exorbitant gd'ing highway robbery prices that they can get away with and they overcharge for every mother blessed thing and why can't they just heal my baby?!
3. The Google Nav beeotch cutting my sentences off even when I mute her skanky voice.
4. People who are surprised that they get pregnant when they don't use birth control. Use the few brain cells God gave you and go get some free trojans from a clinic.
5. People who compare Steve Jobs to John Lennon. The dude was a brilliant businessman and I have owned several of his innovative products, but let's not go calling a horseshoe a hand grenade.
6. People who use the word like as an inappropriate adjective, preposition, adverb, conjunction, noun or interjection while trying to sound important. Stop. Stop right now or I will find something handy with which to beat you. Whether you like it or not, the overuse of that word makes you sound like an idiot, no matter what else comes out of your mouth.
7. The comfy-as-a-pile-of-concrete chairs that my school has in each and every classroom. My ass hurts.
8. People who refuse to use google as a means to locate information.
9. Buying things that say 'handwash only' in 1 pt font that I didn't see in the store, despite the 5 million to the power f-it watt fluorescent bulbs spaced ever point four inches throughout the place that is filled to the brim with unmonitored children who like to hit my shins with the carts...and of course I didn't see that little advisement. Parent a little, hire a babysitter or see number 4.
10. Newegg's restocking fee.
11. Quiznos ruining my ridiculously overpriced sandwich with a half gallon of mayo. No wonder out country is so friggin fat.
12. People who throw the word 'misogyny' around. You get treated like an idiot because you're stupid, not because you have breasts. Get used to it, its only going to worsen as your looks go.

Okay. I feel better. Thank you Phases for this thread.

Georgia.

Congrats on executing a man where there was a lot of doubt whether or not he actually was truly guilty and where 7/9 of witness testimony against him in the trial were later recanted and several witnesses stated that they were pressured by the police to justify against him.

The case of Troy Davis will be another permanent blemish of why we should not allow the government to play with human life.

AND what they said. See the Location in my user info. I'm SURROUNDED.
