Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Here is something of the late, when I turn on my phone, very frequently it will only show the wallpaper, date and time, no app drawer. No a thing has been downloaded at all to really mess up the Moto z2 force.. I have searched everywhere on my phone, there is not much issues running in the background or anything, is it an issue with the new OS?

So you're on Pie now, correct? I'm not. Per this thread, only Verizon users got upgraded, so I'm--and will be--still on Oreo.

If you're still using ADW, which version is it, and have you checked its settings? That's definitely not its normal behavior.

Being down for maintenance issues but worst being down for maintenance issues three times because of the same problem and because of issues that would have been caught if someone had just done a simple service maintenance history check

Having an upset stomach, mostly bile, must of lost around ten pounds due to liquid.. My legs and arms are feeling weak due to that, slept so little lately. Funny I imagine this day, and have Metalica's "Where I May Roam" Blaring on the t.v., I guess I am super well predicting, around a fortnight ago, "the far end of the near sighted future", for myself, I wonder why do I do that so subconsiciously, even though I have a deep phobia of it, could someone please stop this crazy train of mine? Must of spounged the right geeky people too.

Yes indeed, we're still on watering restrictions!

The whole entire rest of the state [as far as I know] has been done with that for almost THREE YEARS...but not Arcadia. Ugh!

PS I'm not actually mad. This is so trivial, in the scheme of things. Besides, my live-in helper totally disregards the rules--and not one neighbor has ever turned me in!

please stop calling me, I tell you the truth as much as I can hide my girlfriend away from others, I know it is a bit complicated relationship, and we just need more time away from one another, I do not wish to marry her off the bat either, I have no clue on what to expect from that moment on. I do lie to them a few times in the past, (i.e. My semi big case in Sept. Also a few phone calls same top reptersentative.) I also told her today about my stocks too, and told her a few personal stuff as well. Because I am not so sure on myself either, still keeping negitive thoughts on her. Its very aweful to think about "dating" her once yet again.

Yours resembles mine--but the image I posted isn't it. That came from the most recent notice of watering restrictions, and actually looks much better on the other side of the card, where it's against a white background:

I say they 'resemble' each other because they're both peacocks. Why is that your city's logo, do you know? Mine is probably obvious from my avatar, which is a picture I took in my backyard, as peafowl roam freely in my neighborhood, and they've come to symbolize the city.

No. It was officially declared over in 2017, statewide. But, as you can see on that notice I posted, Arcadia says our aquifers haven't recovered. I say bullshit! Then tap some of our other sources, like neighboring cities, to get more water. Or tack on extra charges for using more than an allotted amount each month. Or something! We're all sick of this.

It was bad enough, at the height of the drought, being one of the two cities, statewide, to have to cut our usage by the most, 36% (the other was Beverly Hills--who long ago lifted its restrictions). I'm so over it.

Jinan's logo is the lotus flower. That can be seen in many places, on TV, taxis, buses, govt billboards, etc.

JInan is known as "The City of Springs", because there's over 60 artesian springs and waterways throughout the city, and there are many lotuses here. The only peacocks I've seen in this city are in the zoo, along with the pandas, etc.

That other rainbow logo I originally posted is for Wenming Jinan, meaning "Civilized Jinan". which is a propaganda thing, and Wenming "Civilized" is seen all over China.

If someone walking 20+ feet behind you can smell your cologne/perfume/after shave/musk, you are wearing too #|!$ much of it!

If I am outside of an intimate distance and I can smell your cologne/perfume/aftershave/musk then you are wearing too much. The dark ages are over, we can bath and no longer need to cover our stench with perfumes or whatnot.

OT: when my girlfriend hugged me, a ton, I still smell her perfume embeded in some of my sweatshirts and t-shirts..
