Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

Ok, I can see this an old one, but I'm gonna add my $194.77 worth(less) anyway. I ordered a phone from Walmart (see my other thread on this for more excruciating details). They messed up the order and I was told to cancel and redo. Maybe a week and a half later they finally said they had canceled, at which point I reordered. The thing was still late (almost exactly a month total), and I found out it was "carrier locked". I sure did not ask for that and did not see it in the description. I found out that it was TracFone (what Walmart uses for its Doubletalk/Forked Tongue Wireless). It took me a while to get hold of somebody who doesn't really speak English and he informed me that the ransom was $150 to unlock it. A helpful friend on here warned me not to do it, but don't worry. They're not getting a penny off of me. I'm still stuck with this expensive paperweight containing my SD card with No Root Firewall that I was going to use to customize it and make it less bloaty. I'm considering making a picket sign and marching in front of Walmart to let people know how evil they are. Does anyone on here have any (semireasonable) suggestions?
 
Going on since Oct. 2nd, why would this ever happen to my fb account, been in love with that page ever since the beta days, and they will not request my RL name et all ontop of my social media name, without having to show other pieces of mail or even other things floating inside the heartshape allowances too, guessing that site is really pushing people away because of that thrill, I would not mind at all, but Thomas Wayne, over 119 notifications of tagged photos, what was Flash thinking?
 
My mortgage company can't seem to find a way to release my title... been trying to get it for a year and a half. It's going to cost me what little profit I might get out of it to have a lawyer lean on them.

My bad.. Rant thread hmm.. Well besides being heartbroken, I noticed on my own time on this planet iwthout her is such a faded glory, why must I sacrifice myself for her?

My cellphone decided to become an unresponsible device for a second, had to twrp to see what was up, but it has been running smooth for the past few hours or so.. Hmm.. There is nothing I download recently either that could of cause this.
 
Feels like I typed up a 100,000,0000 page essay the way I hate facebook ID checker, hey F***B that is me, why wouldn't you accept I have an offline name as well as online? Gee, I am the same white guy :)
 
Amen to that, with omicron coming on strong, and there are still antivaxxers out there (waaay out there) who refuse to do the right thing to save THEMSELVES and all the rest of us. When it's time for a booster you can bet I'll be in line. Just in case it's your last, I hope it was a really good meal.

The messed up thing is, I was fully vaccinated, but it still took me down for a week plus. I've blown most of my sick/vacation time for required quarantine, now.
 
What do you have, covid? Hang in there. The shot reaction sucks but it's about the same as the flu one. Expect to be out of commission for a day or two. Then it's back to work, ya lazy bum.

If you'd looked, oh ten posts back, you'd have seen that I actually did get covid-19, and yes, it took my sense of smell/taste as well as knocked me out of commission for almost two weeks.

And while I will readily admit I am lazy, I am quite put out that I have burned up almost all my sick/leave for this stupid illness.
 
Wow, you have my sympathy. I wish more people would take it seriously. It's crazy that something which can be killed with soap has managed to take maybe half a billion lives.
