I hate plumbing as well. Living in an older home, I start my plumbing projects at the problem and work my way towards the city water tower.Home ownership is wonderful... until things start breaking and you have a bunch of stuff to repair and no money to do it with.
Especially plumbing. I hate plumbing.

That is actually a pretty cool story.Grandpa Pete the Nazi Cook
Grandpa Pete came from Latvia. During the second war Hitler's war machine rolled into his village and gave him a choice enlist or go for a one way walk in the woods.
He enlisted did a week of training and got assigned to be a cook. Don't know how long he was a Nazi cook . But one day he was going about his job in the kitchen tent when he noticed a lot of the officers and soldiers getting in trucks, cars and jeeps leaving out in a hurry, he said they seem to be panicking.
Eventually he found himself a lone in the kitchen as the other workers ran away. He said he went about his job. He said he bent down to pick something up or get something when he stood up there were dozens and dozens of strange looking soldiers aiming rifles at him, he said they appear out of thin air.
They turned out to be the American army . I think he said it was 1943-1944 .
He became a pow. He said the Army treated him well, beyond well. He was bounced around Europe with other POWs
Then one day someone told him he was being transferred to some place called Texas.
In Texas he was still a pow as they were still trying to figure out who was who. He eventually got put into a trade program and that trade program was a plumbing job training
He ended up staying in Texas for several years and then move to California ended up living in San Francisco, became a us citizen, had his own plumbing business. He passed away back in the late 90's
For the record Grandpa Pete never killed anyone
International semi trucks
So I deliver a load to Texas. By the time I made the delivery, got fuel and got parked I had roughly an hour left on my 70 work clock. My goal was to do a 34 hour reset and get rolling yesterday.
Thursday morning around 2am I woke up because it was cold I got up started up the truck which had trouble starting up but finally did and then shut off.
I tried to start it a second time, same result.
I thought it was the battery. Since I was doing a reset I couldn't do anything until Friday.
Waited all day Friday for road side service to come out, they finally got to me this morning.
Turns out my problem isn't the batteries I have some kind of fuel pressure problem.
The truck is going to be towed to a dealership Monday or Tuesday
Sorry for all that. I'm sure the food loss pale in comparison to the lost earnings. Hope everything gets sorted.I am going to end up tossing about $40-$50 dollars worth of food. I haven't been able to run the truck since Thursday for more than 30 seconds haven't been able to charge up the batteries which means I wasn't able to charge the refrigerator, which Thursday and Friday wasn't a problem since it was cold and the contents in the refrigerator stayed cold however it has been getting warmer
I am so bleeping mad thinking about it
So far I have lost around $400 in earnings I would have made. The truck is scheduled to be towed on either Monday or Tuesday and there is no telling how long it could be down. That is actually a pretty cool story.

Is there some way you could move it to some kind of cold storage? Maybe a fellow trucker could help. Worst case scenario might be Styrofoam coolers and bags of ice.I am going to end up tossing about $40-$50 dollars worth of food. So the first issue with the was resolved, however a second issue was found with truck a leak or something with a break chamber, so now it's waiting for approval for that repair.
