Breathe deep the gathering gloom,
Watch lights fade from every room.
Bedsitter people look back and lament,
Another day's useless energy spent.
Impassioned lovers wrestle as one,
Lonely man cries for love and has none.
New mother picks up and suckles her son,
Senior citizens wish they were young.
Cold hearted orb that rules the night,
Removes the colours from our sight.
Red is grey and yellow white.
But we decide which is right.
And which is an illusion?

Despite having paid for the entire fifth season of The Walking Dead, Google Play had only made the first 13 episodes available to me. I should have 14. Not happy.

Awesome album....
The album was fantastic... but, a guy that I knew back in the day had a mother who wasn't completely happy with her marriage, her life and family...

She committed suicide whilst "Days Of Future Passed" played on the turntable.

Very sad. I remember the family picking up the pieces after their mother's departure. I never looked at that album from The Moody Blues in quite the same way.

"Nights In White Satin" back in '72 still has its place in my revery in positive ways.

Still, sunsets to me are beautiful. The ending of a day, with beauty and grace - LW

One of my favorite songs!

Just one of many great songs and lyrics by the Moody Blues.

"The Dream"

When the white eagle of the North is flying overhead
The browns, reds and golds of autumn lie in the gutter, dead.
Remember then, that summer birds with wings of fire flaying
Came to witness springs new hope, born of leaves decaying.
Just as new life will come from death, love will come at leisure.
Love of love, love of life and giving without measure
Gives in return a wonderous yearn of a promise almost seen.
Live hand-in-hand and together we'll stand on the threshold of a dream.

When Netflix asks me if I'd like to continue watching a show... like duh I've not just sat here for 8hrs for you to ask me if I want to keep going. Of course I do!
The same thing happens with Dish Network; i.e., "Dish DVR to be turned off due to lack of activity." Select the 'yes' or 'no' radio buttons provided, if you wish to continue watching (or, not).

This all falls under the nanny mind-think that is ubiquitous worldwide.

If you have Netflix, and you choose to suck up bandwidth - that's your business. If your ISP gives you bandwidth limits, then, you move up to a new plan.

That's what we had to do with HughesNet - after finding out that Blockbuster@Home was a streaming feature.

We no longer use Blockbuster@Home. If we want to rent a movie for 48 hours, we'll ante up the $6.99. That's how we watched Scarlett Johansen in "Lucy".

That was a freaky film, baby... LW

We have Netflix, but that question has never been served to me.
Cool Kaat, consider yourself one of the lucky ones... you probably have a dedicated broadband connection via DSL, whether it's through your phone company or cable TV with broadband.

Where I live Stateside, we're in the country - DSL is 1.3 Mb per second via phone DSL; so, we have HughesNet Gen 4 satellite internet.

On clear days, we have 4G speed. As long as we avoid going over our 25 gB data limit, we truck along fairly well. LW

Well, I'm following the "What's For Dinner" thread.

"I used to follow a few threads... now, I follow many. You know, you grow?"

Today's rhetorical question: If you use your work email as your own personal email and want me to order something from Amazon for you do you A) send the link to my work email or B) send the link to any one of my four personal emails?

Oh and. Of course the shopping was done on the work laptop as well. You know, why get your own (laptop, tablet or anything) as long as you have a work laptop to use for your own personal stuff.

UGH.

"Well, I'm at work babe...

LOveWerks "Corporate Blues" - inspired by Clementine_3 :)

For the record, when my kids were in high school in the first decade of this century, they were using "kproxy" to get past their school firewall.

As a member of the PTA & O... I guess that I was a snitch. Kids, however, will still be kids.

Sing them blues, baby...

I just sent my agent an email to see if I have the coverage for it.

I remember discussing it with them when I first signed up for my policy a year ago....however, I had just started my first post-college job and was still short on money. I don't remember what I decided on glass, but it's likely that in an attempt to be cheap, I passed on it. :(

If the car is paid for, and you have the title... most people will go for liability insurance to save money.

If you're still making car payments, full coverage insurance is mandatory, and, you should have windsheld coverage within your policy - most times, without a deductible.

Check your policy out, and then call SafeLite ("SafeLite repair, SafeLite replace...").

Have a good Sunday, bjacks - LW

Thanks LW.

I have an e-mail outstanding, but since I sent it earlier today, I'll have to wait until Monday to find out.

I do have a note on the car, so I have full coverage.

bjacks, I wouldn't be surprised that you will have the coverage you need. With or without a deductible, most full-coverage policies cover windshield repair and replacement.

Things should be peachy. :)

No rants? Okay, here it goes:

Damned insurance companies. All they do is grab you with a gecko, a C-List actor, or a game show host - right through your television screen. Auto, home, or life...

A proper rant, for the proper forum... LW
