Rant Thread - What really grinds your gears?

So I am at terminal yard switching trucks which is a major pain 👎. As I am walking back to the truck i see what I think is some cheer leader standing under a light holding a hockey stick, immediately my first thought was i am absolutely not in the mood to deal with people's stupidity
Turned out it was a decal on the side of a truck

I worked the apartment complexes inna past life.

I went into a residents apartment for a work order and immediately could hear the toilet in the upstairs apartment running away.

I asked the resident if he could hear it and he says, Yeah, it has been doing that for over a month now ....

Speaking of Toilets mine has been on and off like hearing a massive aquarim level each time I walk down the stairs,
and it is either not flushing down all the time, but we have to put up the tank lid and flush it manually that way.
yeah long time mental thing.
I stilll think the plunger thing, not the acutal plunger for the toilet but... the plunger inside the tank it can be shut off
by water pressure and there is an odd water pressure in my toilet had for countless years, of where people poo inside of it,
I stopped poo in my toilet so many years, I tend to rush down the stairs of, and then drop my nuclear vessels off hahaaa..

Not my rant, but the rant of a homeowner down the street from one of my lawns. He was waiting on me as I came out of the back yard on my mower. He begged me to mow just his front yard. I normally decline such requests but he said he paid a guy to mow his yard while he was on vacation. The guy took his money but failed to mow the lawn. He said he drove by the guy as he was loading his mower on a trailer and talked him into coming by and giving him a price. They struck a deal and then he got stiffed. I would hate to try to mow his lawn with a little push mower. It was bad. I hope he catches up with the guy and beats fifty bucks out of him.

those "water saver" toilets are a POS !

Had a tenant who complained weekly about her toilet stopping up. I went up there one day and saw the reason why. She would not flush after tinkling and used it several times while piling up the tp, until it stopped it up when she finally did flush !

big logs are the worst enemy of the low/water saver terlits ...

I've also read that old residence lack the drop in elevation from residence to sewer main and will leave build up in the sewer line. They were designed for a greater water flow. Flushing twice is not likely a water saving feature.

My big mower has a motor that raises and lowers the mower deck. It will lift the deck 90° from the mowing position to clean the deck and to remove and sharpen the blades. I bought the mower at the end of the 2019 mow season. Basically this summer is the seventh summer of service The third deck motor refused to work today. As little use as the motor sees, I would like them to last longer than they do.
There is no alternative to raising the deck. You buy a manual deck or you buy the power fold deck. If I had known how long they last, I'd have not paid extra for the power fold deck and I wouldn't be out $900 to replace each motor.

Why do I feel so peer pressure of watching anime with the young ones? It is not going anywhere anyway, I am like a scavenger, who hunts one at a time, who does not have full complete sets of xy and yx, I do have a life and I majority hang around here.. And do my own thing with obscure trivia
