Root Ready to root this Saturday, what am i missing?

- Spare phone for when i brick mine, CHECK
- Cooler filled with Jack Daniels, CHECK
- Cooler filled with Capri Sun's (they're awesome), CHECK
- 3 Bags of hot chips, CHECK
- 6 packs of cigs to last the night, CHECK
- 2 Laptops for Win7/WinXP (nvr know which ill need), CHECK
- Wife will be away for the night, CHECK
- Spare USB cord in case mine heats up and melts, CHECK
- Confirmation that my wife will definitely be away, CHECK
- 5 known-rooted-users added to friendslist for questioning, CHECK
- mIRC client installed and fav'd #unrevoked, CHECK
- 10 threads bookmarked (each has rooting instructions and issues), CHECK

Okay so this Sat i think its ON LIKE DONKEY KONG BABY!!!

Unless im missing something?
 
You'll be surprised that it's literally one click root. it's fool proof. you can't mess up unless you pull your battery when your not suppose to. Enjoy. be sure to S-OFF to get full advantage. and seems like you did it the right way... I read for a MONTH and had all downloads before rooting my old Eris.
 
Lol, supply list sounds about right to me. If you were nearby I'd be stopping by to help and drink some of your Jack.
 
Did you know that Malibu Rum and Pineapple Juice taste EXACTLY like a Capri Sun? It's so awesome, it's one of my favorite drinks.

NO WAY??? What is the mixture, and what other flavors can i work out?

I threw a party for my daughters 2yr bday and got TONS of cherry capri's and it was such a hot day ... those things ice cold were the BOMB!!!

But they are so small, i think i drank like 40 of them haha
 
Just one word, ehh 6 words of advice....research, read, and read some more!

It's very simple and I can't imagine not having a rooted phone anymore. If your a "teaker" then it will be right up your alley :D

Take your time, double check yourself before you apply anything, and have fun!!
 
so are you 2.2 s-on and trying the beta unrevoked method?
or are you going to downgrade to 2.1, s-off, then upgrade?

I'm gettin another refurb on the way this one will come 2.2 pre loaded im sure of it.. idk if i wanna try the beta unrevoked method,or just downgrade back to 2.1 and do the damn thang from there.

I am bone stock 2.2, from OTA. never touched my S

that list is hilarious and what I think would be total overkill, but hey man you obviously looked into it so your golden. The only problem I see is your going to be done in like 10 minutes so you might as well download a bunch of roms ahead of time so you can spend the rest of the night trying out different ones while burning through the jack/cigs

if you follow this new guide it shouldn't take you more than 30 minutes or so. I just rooted 2 nights from stock 2.2 and can tell you it's right on

then sometime to install a ROM or do whatever once you are rooted

Oh i know about Mr Williams. HEH thats my pre payday drink! From what i understand, Jack and Evan started together and split.

I discovered that one by accident actually. Just pour an 8 oz glass of pineapple juice and a shot or two of rum, it's yummy. Tastes like the Pacific Cooler flavored Capri Sun.

I have a friend who's a bartender and makes some awesome stuff. Her signature drink (I have known her for 10+ years and she won't even tell me how to do it) is this drink that tastes just like Grape Kool-Aid but will put you right on your butt after 2 of em.

Or in my case, put me right on top of the bar with my shirt off... :eek:
