Root Ready to root this Saturday, what am i missing?

So if you're s-off, you must be rooted then too. I'd do a nadroid backup in Clockwork as the first thing.

Thats awesome!!! but yea i would do that stuff while buzzed and not trashed heh. Root is easy, but you want to be cairful when it comes to radios, kernals, themes, roms and mods. You can mess some stuff up heh.

Ok so my first step is nandroid backup, will work on that tonight.

Whats my next priority? I would eventually like the bloatware gone, and id like to have better batterlife i guess by clocking.

Just not sure what i should be researching first, so someone please point me in the right direction, or give me a priority list

JMO:

1.) Nand backup
2.) Get Titanium Backup (preferably paid version), run the backup, verify the backup.
3.) Investigate the procedure for flashing roms/kernels if you want to do that yet. No need to rush into anything.

Doing #1 and #2 however, prepare you to rebound from the vast majority of misadventures unscathed. Not that you are going to have any such issues but better safe than sorry.

If it's battery life you want I'd use the hydra under volted stock kernel. or if you want to over clock, use hydras over clock kernel. they are great and no need to use set cpu, the kernel does it all...

well im all done, went with virtuous custom kernal, setcpu for screen off modification only. Should i adjust that more? I am looking for better battery life

Get rom manager, download virtuous rom with the custom kernel. BOAT ware is gone, its a stock rom with enhancements, plus it will nandroid for you.

Vigor and nexus are the 2 phones many are looking at right now but niether is released yet. Vigor in oct. They already have their own forums here tho.
