Root [Release] Android 2.2 Froyo for the Droid X

video playback is not entirely broken. Rockplayer will play your phone recorded videos, along with everything else. Just not the native phone media player.
 
psssssst.... man.... it sure is erilly quiet here now. Guess the flurry of activity surrounding froyo was short lived! It's like everyone has found something much more important to do than to be owned by a handheld device that dictates your every waking moment!

Thank you all for your hard work and input. After 4 or so sbf's I figured out ABD and moved SU. Hello FROYO! Special Thanks to those that detailed ABD processes. Goodnight...Yes, I have had the phone for only 3 days...lol.

hey. do you have any idea why my flashlight widget wouldnt be working? the one in swtich pro doesnt do ANYTHING..the led flash light app turns it on, but if you rotate the phone, then rotate back, it doesnt work either. any ideas?

if you need a flashlight app, try mototorch led
 
Ok i have a problem when trying to update... my phone bricks and i have to flash it. I must be doing something wrong any suggestions?
 
Do i need to move su on my phone with a terminal emulator.... when i try on my pc it says adv device not found and im rooted so not sure what the problem is.
