(okay...stupid I know, but that's the best I can do after Midnight)

I'm still undecided on this phone but it would be nice to know when it's going to be arriving in stores :(. Only been waiting since October...
 
The Pre 3 is actually making me reconsider this phone. I was going to wait anyways for reviews, maybe I'll wait a bit longer. Either way, it's going to be a great time to buy if Verizon doesn't rip me a new one in data or hardware prices!
 
pre-sale of Atrix comes closer and it got good critics....why is Verizon so stupid and is not telling a release date? If they would say 28th. Ok fine; I probably wait but this back and forth is stupid.....I get annoyed at them and start to think about what their next surprise is with this phone....extra bucks for 4G....sorry we couldn't implement data/voice simultaneous over 3G, video calling only over 4G etc.
 
My mother has the Iphone right now for VZW, she likes it, its not bad. Still waiting for the TB though. Honestly I dont care if we wait till March, my upgrade is not until march 25th...so :P

Anyway: They are right the ones who said it, there was never an OFFICIAL release date, so the people getting mad at "delays" seem to have no basis, the phone will get released, when, who knows.

Somebody must have told the BB people that the release date of the phone is the 14th.....otherwise they would not have told me the 14th and so many other people too. I guess Verizon f.... it up. I am curious what they will tell us after the iPhone launched in stores tomorrow. Never had any problems with release dates on t-mobile.
 
Honestly I'm waiting so see what phone HTC puts a dual core snapdragon chip in. The review of this SoC at Anandtech made it look sweeter than Tegra 2 and possibly more power efficient.

I think these next few years will be nuts in the mobile space.
 
I have to ask, with this phantom release date, how does this effect the "reported" 60-day BB exclusive? Am I going to have to wait till march+60 days before I can exchange my phone at Costco? Is Costco considered "retail"?
 
Not sure if this means anything for the Thunderbold and I am not sure if anybody has brought this up yet. But HTC's facebook page has a count down ticket that says "Big Things Are Happening, Stay Tuned" and the count down is at 4days, 18hrs, 51min. hmmmm, that would be the 14th or 15th depending on your time zone.

It is for Mobile World Congress, they already announced the Thunderbolt at CES.

True, however, somebody posted something early where they asked HTC on twitter about the TBolt and HTC pointed them to the Facebook page and said to pay attention.
 
It is almost as if they are trying to "force" customers to keep "old technology" in this ever expanding market of advanced mobile communication devices...
 
I also work at best buy. I have been checking rss pretty often, and for whatever reason yesterday the full retail price of the phone went from 599.99 to 749.99.
 
For what it's worth, I have a friend that works for VZW in marketing. He has remaind firm to the Feb. 14th date. However that was a couple days ago, before the iPhone reason rumors came out.

Right now I really don't care as long as it comes out in the next couple weeks.
