I know there is a way to do this, ive seen threads for it but now i can't find it on this forum or over at XDA. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks in advance!

I think he's looking for a collection of boot images that are already made. I saw similar postings but can't remember where they were either

i changed my boot theme to the guy peeing on an apple....but didnt know there was a way to make the "m" go away. it still pops up before the boot screen....
interesting....

My M is completely gone .....I decided to try tobrun tranq 3.0 the other day and I installed if then did not make any backups of it or anything and didn't like it much so I went back to my apex nandroid and the M is replaced with a tranq screen ....I changed my boot animation twice and it's still there?

Get on the Market. Download 'Boot Animation Changer'. There are several free ones. Even more if you donate. You're welcome.

The cool thing about the app I mentioned is you can preview all of the animations before you change them over to your boot animation... even the paid ones. In the free section I liked the 'Decepticon' one. But I donated, so now I'm using 'Android Ring MK2'.

Here is a video...

Hmmmm.... after viewing that it seems thats a different app than the one I got. I just hopped on the market and indeed there are two, that one and the one I got. Not sure which one is better, but there are free versions of both. So try em out and decide for yourself which is better.

Actually, looks to me like that one is better! Although I don't know that you can preview the animations on that app.

I have lots of bootanimation.zips but they don't change the "M" at the beginning, does this app change that? If so I wonder if I could use the app to change th "M" and use one of my bootanimation.zips?

The toolbox for Tranquility 3.0 has this function included as well as changing the boot animation.

Yes to question #1. I don't know to question #2. You could try it for free.

hmmm....found a link to add audio to my boot animation in there, thanks:D
gonna give that a try....

The link I posted is for M before the boot animation
i thought i was pretty clear in my original statement.

That's great. I responded for those looking to change the boot logo before the boot animation. If it was directly aimed towards you I would've quoted you. People asked if it was possible to change the M logo and for a collection of pics. That's what I supplied.
My post was for the OP and the people that thought the OP was looking to change the boot animation. You say you worked on this thread? Why do you seem offended?

The boot logo (M), is not part of the boot animation (droid eye). They are separate customizable pieces. Sorry if there was any confusion in my posts
