Is it recommended to use Anthrax? How is the performance/battery life? Thanks
I THINK this is the latest version, can't remember where I ended up finding it. Only ran it for a day and it performed flawlessly, as for battery life I haven't used it enough to say.
not the latest version and not supposed to post links to anthrax... chad's rules
David,
Can you link me to where Chad expresses that, please?
I've look at his site and don't see anything there...I've heard that there might be a post or thread here?
Thanks!

It's more GPL rules. This forum is public, his site is private. GPL loophole says he can keep the source code private if he doesn't distribute the kernel publicly. If someone posts it here on a public site and gets asked for source, they're responsible for coming up with the source they can't get since they're now distributing the kernel publicly.
I think it's a bunch of ego-inflating nonsense that's bad for the community as a whole, so I don't use his kernel.
.
.Usually Midnight ROM has the latest Anthrax Kernel. You could always download the ROM and get the boot.img from there
MidnighRom is using the MAC Kernel now.
