I give up. Have spent way too many hours trying to get my mac to acknowledge my epic as a drive. It did a couple of times, but for the most part the connection- when recognized at all - lasts for about 10 seconds.
The most bizarre part about this mystery is that yesterday morning I was able to mount the sd card and add music to it, but when I tried again last night, the Mac refused to recognize it.
I know it's not my computer as I'm having similar issues with my work macs, and from everything I'm reading, I'm not the ony one by a long shot who can't get their macs and androids to peacefully coexist.
I love this phone, it kills my iPhone - I'm just resigned to the fact that I still need to carry an iPod. I'm done spending hours and hours trying to get this
To work. None of the wifi apps work for me as I don't have playlistsin iTunes to transfer - I listen to full albums, and it is way too much of a pain. To scroll through my hundred or so of playlists to repeat this organization. I use a folder structure with nested playlists in iTunes that none of the recommended apps recognize.
So I will continue to carry my iPhone as an iPod, and wait to see what apple does with the new iPod line in the fall to determine how I want to proceed.
At least I can use audio galaxy on my phone when I'm at work
This is so beyond frustrating I have no words. Other than this issue the switch to android from the iPhone has been utterly perfect.
