Root Restore evo 4g gingerbread

Android Version: 2.3.5
Baseband Version 2.15.00.0808
Kernel Version: 2.6.37.6 Cyanogenmod-01509-g8913be8

CPU info: ARMv7 Processor rev 2 (v71)
Mod Version: gingerbread-evo-deck-1.3d
Build number: GRJ 90
After rooting arrived at the above information and lost all of the stock apps.
Big mistake: did NOT backup.
Tried Appbrain and Market none will respond.
Tried wiping data and restoring data but none worked. Any idea how to restore the apps?
I really miss my GPS, maps, market, etc

Sounds like you didn't flash the GApps file that is needed for CM7. Did you only wipe and flash the rom?

Boot to recovery
Wipe cache
Wipe Dalvik cache
Flash GApps
Reboot phone

Again, no worries

Just for future reference. Most AOSP (Android Open Source Project) roms will not have the GApps file included. In this GApp file is access to the market and other needed files. So when flashing an AOSP rom, you will need to flash the GApps zip directly after flashing the rom. So in order...

Boot to recovery
Wipe everything
Flash AOSP rom
Flash GApps
Reboot

If you decide to flash a custom kernel and decide to overclock/underclock, in order....
Make sure you flash a kernel that's for an AOSP rom

Boot to recovery
Wipe cache
Wipe Dalvik cache
Flash kernel
Reboot



Also, if at some point later on you decide to flash a Sense rom, this GApps zip will not be needed, in order.....

Boot to recovery
Wipe everything
Flash Sense rom
Reboot

If you decide to flash a custom kernel, make sure you flash a Sense kernel

also in the rom/kernel sticky there is the gapps file with sprint's vvm app included as well.
