Root REVOlution theme Circle Battery Mod (10%)

Depends on what you're modding. If you want to Mod Apex REVO or NexTheme, you can grab my .apks and modify them via 7zip. That will work just fine.

If you want to Mod your own theme, you'll have to follow the steps in this thread.

The mod works fine for me, no PC's, I can see text in buttons, now, etc. I hope you didn't take my offer as an insult. I like to show my gratitude for folks' work by paying for it. Thanks for sharing your good work!

NO, I did not take it as an insult! In fact, that offer made my day :D.

I did this in my spare time and I work (a lot :rolleyes:) so I'm not in need of donations. It's just that a lot of DEVs seem to be out of work and this little project gave me an idea of how much work they put in.
 
So this mod is all fixed up?

EDIT: I assume I can just bootstrap recovery and install from zip from sdcard?
 
I just installed via Rom Manager. Is this the entire theme for Revo? Or Just the Info bar? I thought I was modding just the battery file, previously running NexTheme(ApeX). But it appears now I'm running Revo. Do I have a hybrid or is this the full Revo Theme?

AFAIK, its just the battery mod for the Revo theme. Id wait for the dev to chime in though.

I have not installed this yet. I'm hoping tom will see my post above yours.

Did it just change the notification bar for you? Or the entire phone?
 
My entire notification bar has changed. Also my lock screen buttons changed. Maybe more has changed but I'm not sure.

PS what is afaik?
 
It's only for rEVO users. You cannot just swap out the battery when you're adding more files to the apk. I'm working trying to fix the bugs in the Nextheme version so please wait for that one.
 
Another dumb question -- so I downloaded the zip -- how do I install this? Sorry -- I promise I'm trying to learn this stuff so I don't have to keep asking questions!
 
Well I downloaded ROM manager and selected wipe cache and date by mistake -- so I have it now...but have to set everything back up ... Thanks for not judging my noobness!
 
Same way you installed ApeX and Revolution. You'll need to boot into recovery, mount system and install from zip.
 
Do you have to be running Apex for this work, or can you just be using the REVOlution theme?

Shoot, thanks. I had apex installed but had to ditch it. It's an awesome rom, it just wasn't for me. Really wanted this circle battery.
 
Well, I'm on stock rom, rooted, deodexed, with revolution theme. You da man!

Oh, and I like the green one :D
 
also random question im running revolution theme, i use quicksettings and the icon in my dock is black, how can i change that to white or gray or something that can be seen over the black notification bar?
 
@mikey can you post a screen cap? The OP is updated with instructions. Lemme know if you need more help.
