Riddle me this!

What is put on a table, cut but never eaten?
Oh! Oh! I think I figured it out!

A deck of cards, cut before the deal?
Good one!

Here's my next riddle:
I am hunting a bear. I follow it south for an hour, then I follow it west for an hour, and then I follow it north for an hour. As I take aim, I'm standing where I first started. What kind of bear am I hunting?

Most of the time, if you walk south-west-north, you've made a square U-turn. Unless, of course, you're not on a plane (flat surface), but on the surface of a sphere and you just happen to start exactly on the north pole. As long as you walk an equal amount south and north, it doesn't matter how much you walk sideways in between.

That has to be time. Noting else fits...

CyberMonday Xtravaganza! Yes, right now, and for a limited time, you can get 2 riddles for the price of one.

What's that you say? You're game?

Alllllllll----righty then! Here we go!

1) The more you take away from me, the larger I get. What am I?

2) On a hilltop were seen standing together 2 fathers, and 2 sons. Yet, when they all came down, there were only 3 men. How is that possible?

Seriosly? A newspaper..What question can someone ask all day long, always get completely different answers, and yet all the answers could be correct?
