If one brick weighs, 5lbs and half a brick, how much does a brick and a half weigh??

Giving this a shot based on algebra
1 brick = 5lb + 1/2 brick
1 brick - 1/2 brick = 5lb
1/2brick = 5lb
1 brick = 10lb

Thus
1.5 brick =15lb

So? :D
 
Now that don't make any sense to me... how can 1 brick weigh 5lbs and half a brick? I know its a riddle but still... it just don't make any sense to me at all..

Yup...it's just a simple math problem, lol :D

1 brick = 10lb
1/2 brick = 5lb
thus
1 brick = 5lb +1/2 brick

Well... if there are any survivors from the crash, wouldn't they be sent back to the families and they choose where to bury their loved one?
 
Here's one for you guys - it's had me stumped all day.

3 common English words, 6 letters each. They begin with the letters B, F, and G. The ending 5 letters of all the words are identical, but the words don't rhyme.

Anyone?
 
Do you know the answer? One of the words is not very common...
