Wireless (2.4 GHz / eth1)
Enable Wireless: YES
MAC Address: **:**:**:**:**:**
Wireless Mode: Access Point
Wireless Network Mode: B/G Mix (Tried both separately also)
SSID: Netgear

Channel: 6 (Tried 8 also)

I also noticed the rom changed my elites mac address

You sure you're running the same rom? Maybe install the rom you uploaded clean and see if you can connect to wifi.

I tried a couple of different routers that allows bgn with wpapsk. Everything else including the phone with your last version rom connects.

Did it work? And the change for the mac is because in the stock firmware it got the unique mac address from the NV Ram. I have to find a workaround for that for this rom.

Yes I'm running the same rom I uploaded. I haven't touched the wifi since maybe the first month I release the alpha.
 
Phenomx4: I know you think you're running the same rom you uploaded but I suspect something is different. That's why I suggest you do a clean install with the file and see if wifi works. You can restore a nandroid if it works. It will be much easier to diagnose if you have the same problem. I guess it's possible that it's some weird hardware difference but that seems unlikely. Something happened since the last release. I did a clean install with gapps and had the same problem with no other files installed.

Has anyone done a clean install of the new version with wifi working?

Alright. I'll do a clean install and see if I get the problem.
 
Well I did a dirty install over lasts months release and now it's working, I'll do another clean install to try to get you some more logs
 
Looks like it fails to get an IP address 10 times before it gives up. Is anyone else having trouble connecting to a wifi ap on the latest build.

Confirmed. Clean install including gapps. Doesn't connect to WiFi. Cycles through a half dozen times and then finally says, 'Avoided, poor Internet Connection'. I'm 10 foot from my router - doubt if I'm getting poor internet connection as I get perfect connection under Sleipner.

Hmm this is really weird . I'll look closer into the tree.

FYI, I set IP (under Wifi --> Advanced) to static and everything works good.

Also, confirmed bar code scanner works (which was a big deal for me :D)

I don't believe the barcode scanner uses any type of autofocus - at least the one I use doesn't seem to. Looks like the camera issue is related to autofocus.

Nah just the wrapper that's with rom isn't setting up parameters because of a mistake I made but I fixed and everything seems to work other than taking pictures.
 
Ive been having trouble connecting to wifi on stock. All it says is "retrieving ip address" what i did was reenter the password. It should work.
 
just flashed first time, only things i can find wrong are camera, of course, but the wifi is acting up too. before i connect strength is excellent, when obtaining ip, goes to poor. then gives up. just a belkin, but have tried open networks as well. ive tried simple resets but no go. if i find something ill let you know, till then.
 
OK the wifi used to work on the last update. Done a few very clean installs. Still no dice. On sleipnir works. Miui same, works. Not sure what happened. On ur change log u said u started over on ur kernel.... Wrong keystroke somewhere? All in all though. Bad ass rom. Truly. I didn't even care the cam didn't work. Just had to have the led back. Kinda blind and the flashlight is a deal breaker. But I wanted to give her a whirle again. See if the work u have done got the led back. But I have no service so wifi is it. I don't even have the last update to try a dirty install. I effing HATE gb. I'm really not sure how android survived long enough to get to the ics and jb sickness we got today. Only other issue I ever had was this phone has no light sensor hence no auto brightness. But boy it sure thought it did. And wouldn't let me have the brightness control by swiping along statusbar. Anyplace I can get the old update to try the dirty icky way. Lol cram the new DROID on the old one there... It'll fit.... Trust me 8-) save me from this ginger madness.... Sleipnir is one polished mother of a gb rom. But still just gb.
