Root [ROM][4.1.2]AWE Inspired Moonshine White/Ginger V2.9a Final[Works with stock device]

Yes Cyanogen mod is an AOSP ROM. Android open source project. It would be incredible to get CM on the Awe. It would take time though. Progress is being made daily on the kernel and ROM development. CM may come in time. That would be awesome:)

Didn't you mention before that your team had a bootable cm 10 but it still had a ways to go? Any more info about that? Isn't cm a aosp base rom ?

Yes, and its nowhere near complete. Porting aosp takes alot of effort. There is so much that needs to be changed, coded, tested and fixed. CM itself isnt even a finished product and has numerous issues that vary from device to device. Its going to be awhile before we are ready to release even an alpha. Theres so much to do yet. Our main priority as a team is getting a fully functional kernel and recovery with as little issues as possible to get it booted and flashed.
One step at a time...

Dragonhart is already implementing reboot menu and organizing settings menu for his rom:-) that stuff takes time as it requires modifying framework and system apps. All things come to those who wait :-P

any way to upload the stock swype keyboard? I realize it's an aquired taste, but after using it since it first came out, actually tapping the keys seems to take soooo long.

Just buy Swype man. I got it for 99c and its on everything now. The acquired taste is just using it lol. After a few days its perfect and like you , i cant imagine using anything else. I always tried to keep stock Swype on my OV and finally said **** it and bought it. It keeps your dictionary in cloud so any device is loaded with my limited vocabulary as soon as i sign in. Nuance is actually working on some exciting stuff input wise. I just hope Apple doesnt take them over, wink wink.

On a side note, youve done good work on this ROM too bro. Both you and Dragon have solid work out especially considering the limited resources for this device. Do any of you speak Chinese lol? I have gotten a lot of good shit from China by calling and speaking to a manager at a factory. Money talks more in China than anywhere else seeing how all the stuffs made with slave labor basically. Pretty sure ZTE is in Canton and my wife speaks Mandarin though.

Strong work man, cant wait for both of your works. Kinda stuck with you fellas too seeing how i cant make it back to stock anyways =P

You can make it back to stock, I have a couple of threads that contain the information to do so.

But with the great work were doing so far, why would you want to? ;-)

Forgive me if it's been asked already, but does anyone know what "ChameleonProvider" does? It's eating up a huge amount of my battery and memory and I'd love to delete it, but if it's important, I don't want to. The only thing I've been able to find is that it has something to do with wifi tethering (which I care nothing about). Thoughts?
