Sorry, been suuuuuuuuuuper busy. Were getting things ready to open a new shop and I have like 4 computers at my office waiting for me to fix. I havent even gotten a chance to work on my own rom yet :/
I still wanna collab! No doubt, just gotta get a break lol. As I mentioned before in another thread, soon as tax season hits people are all over my shop. Seriously, unless you can do it yourself, where else can you get a Galaxy S4/S3/Note 2/3/LG G2/iPhone 5/S/C unlocked or flashed for $30? ^_^ *shameless self promotion*

I like getting into my ##3282# (data) menu from the phone. I can't access it anymore from there since the kk update. Is there a way around this? Do I need the stock phone app?

I use spotify on my phone constantly... So I usually.pass 2.5 Gbs, and yes it's unlimited.... But they throttle the hell out of it....
I can't play music anymore if I use this ROM, and that's crappy...
I really appreciate the good work you all are doing, and this ROM has given my phone a new life.
Don't get me wrong, I'm very very satisfied with all of it, I just need to get into that menu somehow guys...

Yes... You would need your msl, and its a little bit of work. I forget where I learned it from, so I would have to be IN the menu to show you how...
Also, it stops MMS from working on stock SMS
But hangouts and other SMS apps will be fine.

Can someone with the new kk update try the menu for me?
Go to your phone app, dial ##3282# and tell me if the menu opens.
If it works, I probably need a re-flashing.

Are you on the kk update or cm version?
Also, use a converter online.
Go to your phone, type *zte*0# and go to meid (I think) then go to Google, type in meid converter, type it in. The msl (msn?) Is the six digit code. Write it down.

Youd probably be right any other time, but not this time. It's true that I don't know what any of it means, but that's why you write it all down to undo it if any problems arise. I don't know the terms well because i don't have access to the menu mentioned. Plus, acronyms to phone terms was a terrible idea. From my understanding, you are making your data anonymous to the towers, making it so VM can't keep track of data usage. Your phone number and SMS still work, and your data never slows unless you are on low signal (prl fixes).
Anywho, ive been using this trick since i received this phone. Its resets every time i install a new ROM.

I'm on the kk update. Its weird tho because after signing in to google, all the apps I had before the update started downloading on their own

That's because u picked restore apps during setup, my data menu doesn't work either, did u get weird errors when wiping data??

Nope. It flashed just fine. I just factory reset and flashed the ROM. flashed with no problem

Keep in mind that this is an ever growing ever evolving project and much like the op my interest is only as great as the feedback from the community...
