That and much more coming depending on community involvement. Its not about gratitude or thanks. It's about feedback. People who don't do this have no idea the hours that go into it. The OP has put alot of work into this as well as myself. We just want to make this the most interesting and customized stock based ROM for the N800.
 
I was waiting a full day after updating to this to test everything and I have to tell ya I am so amazed at the difference. I love this soo much I honestly dont see how it could get any better. I am sure you will figure out a way to do it, but until then you have my unending gratitude for working so hard on this, and especially for sharing it with all of us. Thank You.
 
Just a few points of criticism, in the build, what was changed? Upon flashing, my phone asks for a sim. Also the whole data menu missing is driving me nuts...

One more thing, why apex?
Okay two more, stock browser is installed yet... Google chrome is missing? I know it's a work in progress, and it's wonderful so far. Just a big sacrifice for a few cool things, you get me?

Data menu will be addressed in the coming build. Stock browser along with Google sync will be included in the coming build also. Chrome is garbage even on my quad core phone with 2gb ram...some will disagree but I'm speaking as a power/mutitasker user with a lot of experience. Apex is a no brainer, its lighter in size and resource consumption with far more customization aspects to any of is peers. We're shooting for lean, mean and customized. Reducing GApps and any other bloat as much possible while adding as many functional aspects as possible. We'll address any functional issues in the coming build. Please don't consider it criticism we welcome all comments.

No worries brother, thanks for the reply, input and concerns. I'm sure the OP will agree while developers typically build for themselves, that they keep the end user in mind and any thoughtful and valid suggestions are taken under advisement. Thanks for using the ROM and do stay tuned.

Thanks for great explanation, end users are always considered, we want you to like our work as much as we do :D, a lot of our gratitude comes from sharing our work with others and knowing we made something better for everyone :D

There's always going to be things ppl want/think are better, the idea of sliming down the rom was for that reason. We are trying to include out of the box functionality while letting u make it your own:D , as far as the sim thing i used a universal setup wizard.

u have to use install new rom option or manually format system, also are u on newest philz?? if u get cant find recovery log errors during wipe u need to shut down and reboot to recovery again and retry as it doesnt actually wipe anything when it throws those errors:D

hey...thats my line! >_< lol jk

been out of the scene a while (assuming noone really worried about whether or not mine gets revived haha) TRYING SO HARD not to break my computer. this damn thing keeps shutting off on me randomly and it already bricked 2 phones i been workin on at my office. really hoping to get a new one monday so i can get back into this.

so far you guys are doing great work and i absolutely envy your progress so far. while i was out i got a bunch of stuff working, but subsequently broke alot of other things. was ahead of starkraving on the notification bar mod (but none of the buttons did anything) had the lockscreen changed FINALLY (then broke lockscreen altogether) wifi tether was a native option, and somehow got popup text notifications to work (but wouldnt let me respond)

but once i get my new PC it will be back to the drawing board...joy

again, really glad you guys are on this. cant wait to see what you come up with next! keep it up guys!

i thought u fell off the face of the earth lol, was trying to get u involved, i noticed wifi tether is a native option but havent got it to function yet :hmmmm: the notification toggle was starkraving's idea, he themed it, i did the work of getting it to work:D, pia by the way. glad u like it :D, if u want to help just give me a hangout

will have to wait til my new lappy is operational. like i said...hopefully monday then its go time! til then imma keep beating this thing like a dead horse

I personally got this device and saw not much was available in terms of modifications and just started reading and trying to make things work :D, also past console modding helped a bit:P

Been building pcs since I was 9, modded my first snes at 13 and got into this out of curiosity. Figured I could provide something back to the community that helped me out with modding lots of other devices since the old HTC G1. So yeah, like starkraving said break s**t til you get it right >_<
