Root [Rom][5-17-12]Broken Out Connect 1.0 w/ Blitzkrieg Kernel

So I installed the Rom and everything, looks great btw, but I tried overclocking with No-frills to both 1.836 and 1.512 and running benchmarks, and it is telling me my cpu frequency is 972? What's up with that? Anyone else experiencing this?
 
The CPU frequency issue I am not to sure about. I have made several changes in the kernel and rom trying to fix it. Without a device though makes debugging more difficult so unfortunately it is just going to take time in testing.
 
No worries, just wondering! Looks like a few other people have this problem, but I saw the screenshots of that one test where it did project a higher frequency. We'll just see if it fixes itself.

It did that for me too but I uninstalled the Cpu app it has and put AnTuTu Cpu master pro on it and it let me overclock it to the 1800's n when you reboot it it will say that unexpected reboot and press continue anyway n it should be set
 
Hi mt the rom is super awesome, I was just wondering if its my phone or others are also facing the issue, which is no notifications when there is a missed call or text, I mean on the message icon and phone icon not notification bar such as if I received one text it will show 1 by the message icon. Thanks for the rom its beautiful and awesome

taht is a feature of the launcher you were using, by the looks of it he is using a different one. ergo no numbers

You have it checked on inthe settings? Not under the default option, scroll further down and under engines you have you have to check a box next to the one you want on. And did you download the files it asks you to?

yeah but none of the text to speech is working even the default one, I just get a force close.
 
The brightness seems to dim just slightly even when I have auto brightness off. Unlocking the phone puts back on max brightness but then dims out after a couple seconds.. And I have my screen timeout on 2 minutes

im having no luck flashing this ROM been trying since yesterday i have downloaded multiple times the md5 matches i have touch recovery installed and when i flash it completes but after i reboot through cwm it has the lg logo then reboots into lg logo a few times then it says xperia then does it all over again or sometimes it will get to the lock screen then freeze right away and reboot but it reaches there rarely.

are you wiping?
 
yes i have tried wiping i also tried not wiping i have tried only wiping certain things before i try the rom and no go maybe the oc is not playing nice on my phone that's the only thing i can come up with.

getting this rom to work it keeps rebooting on itself and the download is correct it matches the md5 sum i have also tried wiping and not wiping etc .
 
Well if dalvik and data is wiped. Is this unit refurbished? Try the none touch recovery. The only thing I can think of is your CPU is a funny batch and 1.5ghz is making it reboot.

I'm somewhat new but is there a way to log the activity while using a USB?

no its new it came with zv8 first thing i did was update to zva then root and cwm then did backup i was having trouble with the backup though so i tried the touch and that worked like a charm. ill try with a different cwm i also think its the oc as well and i believe there is but i have never done that ill try the different cwm then if it doesn't work ill see if i can log it.

You are keeping it zipped and selecting the install from zip option, right? Just making sure you aren't extracting to a folder and using the restore option.
