i normally use between 600-700 for screen off and in call *(im on eclipse atm.. cant remember the exact numbers)

and i start with the highest frequency for 100% battery and drop a step every 5% battery...

anyone tried holo launcher with brokenout?? for me its the best ics style launcher

i just downloaded and tried holo launcher. Was laggy for me. But i'm used to the perfect smoothness of TSF shell so maybe thats why. Could just need a restart but i don't have time to play with it right now. Gotta get back to work!

how long have you had tsf shell? i tried it when it was first released and didnt really enjoy it...

I've been using it for a few weeks now. I really like it. it needs some options and features added but overall it's my favorite launcher right now. And it runs very fast and smooth. I've never seen it lag one time.

It's one of those things that you need to really take your time to learn though because it's so different than any other launcher out there. Most of the changes are made through the launcher itself and not in the settings, which makes it a little confusing.

Got 3.0 posted! Will update change log when I get home, but main thing is the update to zv6, Sony Xperia S theme, and kernel updates!

Thanks Mt if coming from 2.0 is a full wipe necessary? What's with the smaller file size? Not complaining just curious as to why?

I'm going to say yes. Do a wipe.

anytime you are upgrading a rom to a completely different version you should do a wipe.

It would probably work without one but you may notice glitches here and there

I know you asked mt but I thought i would go ahead and throw in my 2 cents!

Yesterday morning I wiped my Spectrum's cache, dalvik cache, and battery stats. I then installed Broken Out Spectrum 2.0. It all went well enough.

I've started installing many of my apps back on the phone and am generally getting settled in. However, I am already starting to experience the failure of the phone's screen to rotate from portrait to landscape orientation. And this is with Launcher Pro. I'm guessing this has quite a bit to do with the widgets I'm running, but ADW EX didn't seem to be having the same issues.

And then today I had my phone in standby while going on a roadtrip. After a few hours, I tried waking my phone and nothing happened; I eventually had to pull the battery to boot up. Not good...

I'll give this ROM a few days, but if I continue to experience annoyances like these I will end up returning to stock so I can root and de-bloat (although not as aggressively as last time).

Now that I think of it, is it possible to remove Launcher Pro and add ADW EX? I don't really want to have both on the phone... Oh, and is it possible to have ADW EX rotate the dock icons without changing their order?

Flashed, up and running, I like the new look, very clean and sharp looking. I am getting my apps and settings back up and configured, then I will really get to put it through it's paces and will give a more thorough review after that.
 
Do I have to perform a full wipe of the phone to update from 2.0 to 3.0? Then again, it might be better for me to do so when considering the two issues I'm having with 2.0...

I'll probably get to it between tomorrow and Tuesday afternoon.

I asked the same question literally 5 posts ago..Yea u should. I think Launcher Pro doesnt auto rotate well. Id suggest SS Launcher(Sorry IMU Carmen lmao) Your previous issues don't sound related to Broken Out so I'd try 3.0 and see if it helps.

MT I like the new boot ani and I'm glad u brought back the gb settings menu. Nice work man
 
When I access the forum from my phone using Tapatalk 2, I tend not to read as deeply. Sorry.

I also forgot to mention that after charging my phone overnight, I couldn't get the screen to come back on then either. I had to do a battery pull first thing in the morning. Not a great way to start my day. And then having to do another battery pull over lunch sucked.

I hope it's just an anomaly...

Thats odd...I'd try rewiping everything both caches and data and redownload and see if it helps.

Everything looks to be working properly, I am able to use, bt, wifi, etc. The one thing I did was that I had to switch the launcher...due to personal preferences, the main reason was the lack of ability to resize widgets.

Anyway. The new rom is running great. I got a 74xx on Antutu which is about as high as I get with any of the roms that I have used. So all in all I like the new rom. Good Job...Again.
 
seems to be good so far. The new look as nice as well. Good to change things up.

But blasted center clock is back! curse you center clock! :D
