It's all good Hyperrunner. I've wanted to ask about the update only because I'm on Sprint and don't want to flash the rom until it's sprint ready... But I didn't want to be a douche and ask for an eta. Thank you for dropping in with an update! Real Life happens. We understand that you do this for free! It's all good. I'm excited for the update so I can flash. Thanks for your work, we appreciate it!
 
Love the rom! I think it's awesome.

Though I can confirm that GPS continually looses it's signal. Seems like every three minutes it would connect, and then search for another signal. I had to use my bro's phone to get us to our destination and not once did his GPS cut out on his HTC One V while I left mine still searching for a signal.

But other than that I am really enjoying this ROM!
 
This was the best JB rom i found so far. Everything worked perfect till i finally stepped out the house. I can't run Trapster, google navagation.... or anything that uses GPS. If you run trapster it loose its signal 99% of the time. To get it back you have to keep playing with the gps on/off and turning restarting trapster.

I mean if your standing still GPS is fine i believe, but soon as you get into a moving car it falls flat on its face.

Also, i was in a lower level of a building today where i always get a signal. First night down there sitting on the toliet i got 0 signal. It keep bouncing between 1x and R and 0. Soon as i got back to the higher level it worked perfect.

This is my 1st couple hour experience with this Rom.

Other than that there are no other problems.

Great job with the rom though.
 
Never, ever use your phone while sitting on the toilet, from personal experience I can state definitively that they don't float very well! You have been warned. :p:eek:

I can confirm. Its happened to me. Unfortunately it will probably happen again as I use my phone every day. Listening to music . Lol
 
I jam and twist one up daily , but my phone will never be dropped :) you have to prioritize, focus less, thats going to happen regardless and more on not letting your $150 phone go for a swim. mine has fallen to the ceramic tile before tho :) just not the water yet

So reading this whole posting and flashing aliendroid, is the gps still an issue or been updates when I flash aliendroid 1.0??? Reading post back in Jan 2013, seemed to be some GPS issues and if no working for you dudes.
 
The ROM is awesome, but GPS is definitely an issue. The GPS cuts out about every 3 minutes, so it's impossible to use for navigation. If the GPS gets fixed this would be perfect.
 
Okay help me... So I am super new to this phone, i got it unlocked n rooted, so i want on n flashed this rom n now the phone turns on, I see the HTC logo n then it shows the Boot Animation for like 5sc n it turns off. it was on hbooot 1.57...if this helps in anyway. n how can i change the carrier name.
