I've owned a lot of phones I mean a shameful number of phones...cell phone junkie since 95 and my first legit smartphone was a BlackBerry 7100C lol...probably giving away my age a bit...but I've been an active member on other devices...other forums under other names and I have to say that this is one of the most unassuming and enjoyable device forums I've ever been a part of. The primary dev isn't a diva...all the knowledgeable people are helpful and more or less unpretentious (We all have our quirks, like mine for wanting people not to be spoon fed and actually read/learn something and I apologize if I come across rude sometimes.)and even though I don't own the Awe anymore I like hanging out lol.U been on the awe team since day one and I appreciate it actually I learned how to root and flash ROM and recovery from u just reading for days ur name stands out all ur comments helped me before joining this site
Why not try it with one then the other? Then you'll know which is best for you...chances are something in the testing phase may have issues...but you can always reflash the stock kernel.Woke up and flashed the newest version of DU. And what a difference! Way less laggyand buggy! Should I use the stock kernel or the test kernel?
I spoke too soon apps are still crashing I disabled android webview still nothingWhy not try it with one then the other? Then you'll know which is best for you...chances are something in the testing phase may have issues...but you can always reflash the stock kernel.

[/QUOTE]I could swear a couple years ago you had helped me a few times on the LG Optimus Elite Forum, and I remember you were very nice and informative, lol, it was my first time rooting and custom ROMing and now it's the second best phone I've owned, of course following this oneI've owned a lot of phones I mean a shameful number of phones...cell phone junkie since 95 and my first legit smartphone was a BlackBerry 7100C lol...probably giving away my age a bit...but I've been an active member on other devices...other forums under other names and I have to say that this is one of the most unassuming and enjoyable device forums I've ever been a part of.
