Thanks another note still can't get what's app to work with the link u gave meThere's quite a few threads on XDA that have various M apps that are compatible with L...New Launcher with vertical app drawer, clock, Velvet and some others. Will give you an idea...not any significant (cosmetic) changes from L based on the Dev preview(mostly bug fixes and security stuffs) but as we know that is far from a final release. I'm honestly surprised from what I've seen and read that this version would be a "named" version...oh well lol.

Can you get me some logs when you're having your whatsapp issues? So I can compare it to some others I've seen/read about. Thanks another note still can't get what's app to work with the link u gave me![]()
I see what I can musterCan you get me some logs when you're having your whatsapp issues? So I can compare it to some others I've seen/read about.
OK...at first glance you have a lot of unknown permissions/permissions denied I mean almost every app... So my first thought are you using links2sd?I see what I can muster
Super su is what came with this rom and using APps2romOK...at first glance you have a lot of unknown permissions/permissions denied I mean almost every app... So my first thought are you using links2sd?
Second thought based on a IRC discussion and a discussion in stack overflow...
android.permission.ACCESS_SUPERUSER is a permission declared by the Superuser app, but in Android 5.0 onward it was deprecated.http://su.chainfire.eu/#updates-permission
old AndroidManifest back when it was defined:https://github.com/koush/Superuser/...df924bd4d5c7aa0/Superuser/AndroidManifest.xml . The permission is missing from newer versions it seems.
This means that in order to have that permissions exist on your device, you need to install an old Superuser version which has that permissions.
So knowing that are you using super user or supersu?
I'll research it...sorry I'll look at WhatsApp too...those permission errors looked more important to me at first glance.Super su is what came with this rom and using APps2rom
OK part one of the fix...Apps2rom doesn't play nice with 5.1.X so you should look for a different approach on that front. Just to verify uninstall it, clear cache and dalvick(art) and reboot and get me another log. Then we can rule out supersu binary as the issue . I use that to put more APS to ROM to gain more user space but I try it thanks and give u logsOK part one of the fix...Apps2rom doesn't play nice with 5.1.X so you should look for a different approach on that front. OK... The permission issues are still there...so now we need to look at the binary. I'll look into it.@starkraving here is the log
