weird didnt someone say the made calls and sent text??
When I first flashed the ROM I got no service whatsoever. After like 30 minutes of playing with the phone settings I picked up metro's network but it said it was roaming. I know the SIM card is only for 4G but for some reason if you remove it the phone won't work properly not even on 3g.

I can confirm that the Connect gets no form of mobile service (phone calls, text, data... etc) without the SIM card on the stock rom.
However I didn't test to see if I can still make calls/texts on cm10 without the SIM card. Perhaps someone can try it and see what happens?

on stock VV3, my LG Lucid battery stayed at around 50-60 degrees Fahrenheit, but with CM10 it's around 77-84 degrees. What's causing this and is there anyway to cool my battery down?
With 0307 I can text, make and receive calls, and I'm not roaming.
Do you mean you can't make any calls with SIM in? At first mine could only receive calls, after running for a while and playing around with phone settings I could make/receive calls and SMS was working fine. When the ROM initially boots up, there is NO svc at all. It will show up after sitting for a while!!
Downloading 0309, I'll check back in a while!

No, I meant currently I'm using stock VV3 and if I pull the SIM card out I get absolutely no service (despite the fact that the SIM card is supposed to be only for 4G)
Now I haven't tested if the phone still gets service or not without the SIM card using cm10, I think we are trying to determine whether cm10 is reading the SIM card or not.
Now that I'm home I'll download 0309 and try it out.
Gotcha, 0309 works the same except camera opens, gallery FCs.
Actually i did it connected to metro and said it updated correctly but no potatoes...
Are you still running JB? What PRL does it say under phone info?
It said 3032 before and after...
OK, after somebody spoke of PRL I thought my phone was displaying two different PRLs between GB and JB. Just flashed JB again, turns out I was seeing shyt, it's the same

OK I tried 0309 with no SIM card and it said "No SIM" at the lock screen so I guess that kinda debunks the theory of CM10 not seeing our SIM cards.
0309 shows MetroPCS on lock screen but shows 'unknown' under ICCID in phone status. Is this why data is not working?

was you overclocked to 1.5 b4?? Try using a lower oc clock setting.the ROM is great, only problem is of course the mobile data and the camera. It also feels clunky and terms of performance, but I'm sure that can be fixed. My LG Lucid battery is also running at 82 degrees rather than 50 degrees, but I'm not sure if that's the ROM or not. Other than those things, I'm really loving the ROM. Thanks for all of the hard work

Weird indeed. Less heat with JB then any ZV* based ROM. Since I have phone, text and WiFi I may just keep it here cuz it runs so smooth even with my daily apps Even without any network data this ROM rocks!

Ok, I set the default OC to 1.4, added max of 1.6Ghz, and got the rear camera working.

Would any data from MPCS hidden menu be of any help to you? I have MMS setting, LTE Config and a bunch of other garbage in here....

0307 or 0309? I tried messing around with those, didn't change anything. Running ZVA now looking for APN data ATM, gonna have to try out what you did there.
