Root [ROM][ALPHA] Quattrimus ICS

I noticed two little bugs.

If you set wifi to disable when the phone goes to sleep, sometime when it wakes up it wont reconnect to wifi, you get a msg under wifi settings stating. "Not in range" You have to disable wifi and re enable wifi in order to get it turned back on. This doesn't happen all the time, pretty random.

If you receive an email (gmail) when the phone is in sleep, the illuminated keys don't light up like they do with txt msg. When you wake up the phone the keys are illuminated at the lock screen but when you unlock the phone the lights on those 4 keys on the bottom don't light up after unlocking. You have to put the phone to sleep and wake it up again to get the keys to light up.

Pretty minor flaws....

I am not experiencing the wifi issue you have. Mine reconnected each time after coming out of sleep mode. I am using BloodDawn's new kernal. I don't know if this impacted the wifi in any way but you may want to upgrade just in case.

How do you get your keys to light when you get a text. I would LOVE to have that feature active.

nothing major, noticed about a week ago but screen wont stay awake on charge even though its turned on in settings. Also had headphone issues when listening to music once screen turns off.

I'll try the new kernel and see if that fixes it.

As for the key notification, Alpha1b did it by itself. If the phone is in sleep mode and you get a txt the 4 keys should flash.

I was reading in another thread about LED control and saw this
https://github.com/Bloodawn/HYPER_LGE_ICS/blob/master/kernel/drivers/leds/leds-bd2802.c
line 1018 and 1218 references 'message' so maybe that's what does it? I'm not a programmer....

The default for wifi is always on. I set mine to turn off when in sleep. This is when it doesn't always reconnect. From looking around the web it seems to be known that it happens with ICS.

I have noticed on my device there is no gapps and certain apps do not function and just shutdown following initiation. Is there anything I can do about this issue

when i installed it on my Lg marguee for boost for some reason i get a message like "andrid.com provison" what am i doing wrong?

Did you flash gapps?

Which GAPPS should we be installing? I used the RSkyline.zip Monster posted and it seems to be working fine. But is there another one we should be using?

Finally took the plunge today and I want to thank you tdm for doing an excellent job.

It is still in alpha, although some of the things in the OP have been fixed by bloodawns kernel such as vibration, and cpu settings not sticking. tdm will be implementing these in his next release i believe.
