Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

love this rom! alot works. its so different and much better. alot on this rom works. in my opinion it would be perfect when the camera is fixed. dont really care for hdmi too much. thanks for your hard work!
 
Hey guys my nephew just got a HTC Leo hd2 and they got camera working on cm9 they still have no luck with HDMI. I think we all need to relax and let the devs do their thing and help them by buying a beer for them.
 
So for some reason I cant click on the Install button for new packages. Anyone else having this issue?

I can definitely click anywhere else, including on Cancel. If I touch (or click with a bluetooth enabled mouse!) on Install it does nothing. If I hook up a bluetooth keyboard, I can arrow to the Install button and hit enter and it works.

Other than that I have been using this ROM as my daily for a few weeks now and it works fabulous! Nice job devs!

What version of gaaps are you running?

Another very minor update
-updated kernel version to 2.6.32.16 (note: I had to leave the kernel version showing as 2.6.32.9 because changing the version number broke wifi)
-re-enabled bt quick switch
-re-enabled btwlancoex
-added signature support in MMS. I recommend using the "Append on Send" option for best results if you want to enable the auto append.

great job devs i really appreciate the development that has come to our phone. :) Unfortunately i have to use cm7 until camera gets fixed, its important to have a working camera to document the work I'm doing ;)
 
Honestly, the minor things that are glitchy, I kinda learned to live with. This is an amazing ROM! Thank you!

I have been using this one more than any other, and I love it. Once Netflix and camera are fixed, I will be right as rain.

Has anyone had problems flashing the newest update?

Every time I try to flash, it gets stuck on the boot loader. I know how to flash properly and whenever I flash one of the older builds it boots right away. I'm doing everything I should before the install, but I still can't get it to flash right. Any help would be appreciated.

I love the rom by the way and thanks to all the devs for their hard work!
 
So i flashed the updated gapps but the icon for apps still says market should it be google play already?


update: Ignore my post it did an auto update of my apps and market dissapeared and was replaced by google play.

I didn't have any problems. I've tried both flashing over v0.6.9.x as well as after doing a wipe data/factory reset. Both times, it booted up just fine.

If you haven't yet, try doing a wipe data/factory reset and then flash. See if that makes a difference.

Same here

Downloaded the zip 4 times, clean install each time, each install stuck at boot logo

My bad. The icon should be named Play Store or something like that after it updates. Probably that gapps just hasn't been updated yet with the Play Store. I think they only update the files like once a week or so so a new gapps will probably show up on goo this week.

Edit: Looking at the dates of their files, I'm wrong there also. I bet they just haven't gotten around to updating their gapps files.
 
I flashed the newest version this afternoon. I have noticed that every time it goes into sleep mode, I cant turn the screen on. I even tried plugging it in which usually wakes it up, it didnt. When I had 0.6.9, it would only do it occasionally. The only way I can reset it is to take the battery out. Then its fine. Is anyone else having this problem with the newest version?? Also, I know when you flash a newer version of the same rom your on, you just have to clear caches, does it work the same way if I wanna flash to a older version of the same rom?? Also, do we need to flash gapps every time we update the rom?? I dont remember doing it before but when I flashed this afternoon, I had no market or my contact list. I flashed gapps and it all came back.

Not sure how to actual test this other than going into performance settings and regardless of what i set the cpu speed to, when i enable wifi it shows under current speed peaked out and remains there.
