The microphone in my phone isn't working after CM9 flash (skype, phone, google voice actions do not function) not sure if that was assumed not working or if it's a remote incident.
Lol I was specifically looking for games that required my thunderprop...
No matter I got it up and running on ICS and am testing it now. I'm getting the games to load and show up in the market however some of them wont run/run like shit. That doesn't mean they all aren't working though. 9mm and Backstab seemed fine but I was running them clocked at 2ghz. This ROM is a great start but has quite a ways to go. Upon doing some Quadrant tests the highest I could manage was just over 2300. 1700 at 500mhz, 1900-2200 at 1ghz and 2300 at 2ghz.
Just took it for a test run! Nice work everyone! I mean its got a ways to go but it boots it calls it surfs the web! A month ago we couldn't say that!
Cm9 still has a way to go on there end as well to get it as feature packed as cm7!
All in all it is a pretty Rad os! I think the hype surrounding android 4.0 is a little exaggerated. Even with a perfectly working rom I don't think 4.0 will live up to the hype! But that is Google's fault. Our devs did a hell of a job getting it working!
Mad props to everyone wiring on it! I can't wait to see how cm9 evolves!
I'm a happy guy I worked with mantera and got my onlive controller working with the app and as an input device he is going to add the missing file in his new build.. if we can get microphone working soon this will be my daily driver
CM9 in alpha blows the final miui and cm7 roms out of this earth. No offence to the hard work put into the other roms, this rom is just amazing and pretty smooth. Coming to you guys straight from the rom. Thank you guys.
Hmmm... I followed the normal procedure of clear cache and dalvik-cache, then flash new ROM to upgrade (0.5 --> 0.5.1), but when I rebooted, I seemed to be missing the Google apps. After another flash of the Google apps zip, things seem to be back, but I had to re-add my Google accounts. What happened...?
DAMN! If the alpha is this smooth, I can't imagine how awesome it will be in beta and beyond! Great work devs. I can play with this for a while. You guys should take some time for rest for this awesomeness. Just kickback and enjoy all the compliments. you guys definitely deserve it.
Tried it out. Definitely not ready to be my daily but I'm eagerly anticipating a completely stable build. You devs have inspired me to set up an Ubuntu partition on my computer and start learning this stuff
DL'ing as we speak... Stoked to be getting some ICS love on my Triumph!! You guys rock. Will donate if/when I can (poor college student with kids). In the meantime, please accept my undying thanks!!
I do believe each Dev should get a handshake and a pat on the back for their patience and hardwork on ICS(CM9)...Has anyone made a cyano9en boot screen it would be nice to put on the phone.
