Root [ROM][ALPHA] Triumph CM9 v0.6.17.0 [FINAL]

YouTube works fine for me..but wifi is still buggy cutting in and out..

And onlive force closes at times no biggy just annoying I wish I knew what was conflicting.. sometimes it says sorry on live has stopped.. or it just completely closes its random too..

Still being able to use my controller and play games like I am kicks ass xD

THIS IS EPIC!!! I'm loving ICS on my Triumph! Everything is working great! (except for the known bugs of course) WiFi didn't want to cooperate at first but after a reboot it's working just fine! You guys are awesome and I'll be sending donations out to you guys as soon as I can.

Oh, and I love how I got an E-mail from Android Team congratulating me on my recent purchase of a new Nexus S phone after I flashed this! HILARIOUS! Anybody else get that E-mail?

Great work,
But am I the only one experiencing low FPS, (In case I need to replace my phone) or is the hardware acceleration not optimized yet?

I flashed the new .51 version and I had to reflash gapps. is that normal? I formatted cache and cleared dalvik cache. wifi seems to work better now it seems to auto connect.

The stock launcher seems to perform badly so for now I just use adwex themed ICS of course :) so the only thing I am missing is the stock app drawer no biggie there. adw seems to perform nicely.

Market is inaccessible for me on 0.5.1- It's not force closing, but the screen flashes as if it is opening, then immediately returns to the home screen. Rebooting doesn't seem to help.

Try reflashing gapps again. You normally shouldn't have to, but I wonder if ICS's new "updating" apps routine on the startup is somehow messing up stuff after a flash.

If that doesn't work, you might need to do a full wipe data/factory reset and reflash.

I had to reflash gapps to get market to work after the 0.5.1 update.

Sure enough, that fixed it. Other Google apps were working fine, but re-flashing gapps did fix my Market issues. I guess this is now a necessary step with CM9.

I reflashed gapps and that worked but I wonder if a reboot would have solved it (good chance that it would) next time I will try that when the mms fix comes thru :) I knew it wouldn't be long for that one to fall. GPS might be harder but Tickerguy solved it with cm7 so I guess you have a good foundation to start with.

Damn, Devs, this is great !!!

If GPS was working, I would keep this as my daily.

THANK YOU ALL (you know who you's are)

Reboot did not fix the issue... I had to re-flash GAPPS after update.

To avoid any problems just do a clean install..... save all yourselves some time and trouple and not to sound douche'y but complaining lol. I always do a clean install even if its just a minor update. Annoying yes, but it definitely makes it less likely to have any possible issues. Sorry if it sounds rude or anything just my veiw on it... its still alpha

how did you get your wallpaper to align right? mine always sets it off to the left and no scrolling.

I found that if you reduce your home screens down to 3, and pick no. 2 as default, your wallpaper will center up. Won't scroll. But still easier to get where you want it.

Awesome work devs!

Some bugs which I guess everyone should be aware of and maybe this will help devs to know what all is broken:-

1. Google talk voice chat doesn't work. App crashes.
2. Skype voice calls don't work.
3. Voice search does not work.
4. Speech to text/Voice dictation does not work.
5. Is it just me or the icons in status bar at right side like silent mode icon, wifi, 4g etc all look blurred out. Maybe wrong resolution icons? The clock looks just fine.
6. The music player I guess is the old AOSP one, I downloaded Google Music but that one is pretty laggy so am sticking with this older default AOSP one.
7. System lags are present at many places like opening app drawer or the tabs list in browser, etc.

Items 1-4 seem to be interrelated. So, hopefully, if one is fixed, they will all be fixed.

Did mantera confirm progmanos fix for mms? Just curious. Running its now. Seems better than previous version. It may be the screen drivers... Not totally sure though.

My battery is only lasting maybe 1/2 or 2/3 as long as it did on CM7. Is this normal since it is still alpha?

Wow... I'm able to overclock to 1.9ghz stable on here. The max I could ever get without a reboot on CM7 and MIUI was 1.4.
EDIT: It's even stable at 2.0 :D
