No, it didn't work, I am trying the alpha 5 for the fb0 to see if/how it works. This may take a while, as I have to flash the Ando-id nb0 (Do not try this at home, unless you know how to get back to stock) and then get into the alpha 5. I even tried the camera app from andro-id rc3 just to see if that would stop the hang at boot, to see if it was looking for that app. I am pretty sure this is for the new kernel 2.6.35.7 from tj_style. That is why it won't work. Somebody needs to check out the kernel from the sharp to maybe get it working for our device.

EDIT: I can confirm this to work on edowars alpha 5, but it is running 2.6.35.7 from tj_style. Takes pics but fc when you switch to camcorder.

I'll test any experimental roms you like, I am pretty sure I can get it back from just about anything. Just pm me and let me know.

EDIT: I attached the debug info from alogcat after swapping out the files in the zip from gannon5197, while the system was running, hope this might help. If you swap the files while it is running, the camera app will just close right when it opens, and the phone won't reboot afterwards either, just to the logo.

Does anyone know where the render effect settings went for CM9? It helped to get rid of the blue tint of the screen on the Triumph and I really liked it. Thanks!
 
Sorry to jump in and kill the suspense with the camera (I'm psyched too), but none of the GAPPS links in the first post seem to work. I'm on the g60 CM7 version right now and to be honest, the only thing holding me back from CM9 was the camera. But the thing takes such horrible pics, may as well jump on the CM9. So, about those GAPPS, anyone have a good link? Thanks!

Update: Never mind. Took a lot of reloads, but finally came in.
 
I am LOVING this ROM. Made me not hate my Triumph again. One thing I don't like and maybe somebody knows where this is an option. When I press the power button or in this case, an onscreen 'power button', I'd like the phone to lock and shut off. Right now, it locks and stays on for a couple seconds. Anyone know where this option is, if it's changeable?

Settings, security, lock screen. There is an option to turn the delay on or off.

-Tweaked BT for more stable connections
-Sense 4.0 Multi-tasking (credit evilisto on xda. See this thread:
[MOD][v1.1] Sense 4.0 style Multitasking (IMM76D / AOKP M5 / CM9 20120429) - xda-developers
-Added custom carrier text option for Notification drawer only - Settings --> System --> Notification drawer
-enabled sms split at 160 characters again (thanks to wsimon)
-automatic light levels from cm7 tg-reloaded

I also did a bunch of updates to media streaming to help that. It didn't fix Crackle so I assume that it didn't fix Netflix either--but it won't hurt if someone wants to try it out to verify. After more research, it looks like that will require some kernel fixes for fully working Netflix.

does the cm9 have signature for the sms and mms on the original stock message app cuz i dont want to get a app thats have signature on it i just want the original stock message app soo does rom have signature for message
 
Mantera how is the 35 kernel going are u still getting random reboots or is there some other problems also do u think u could build it and post it or pm me the link I wanna mess with it

Edit: sorry if anyone thinks this is a stupid question or anything just disregard if so I don't know how to delete my post

Yes, it's still getting random reboots; well, to be exact, not really random... It reboots all of the time.
